  Disappointing!

  My partner and I wanted to take a couple of days rest and relax in the spa. We were so disappointed with the facilities. The showers in the dressing room were broken and the showers by the pool were also broken. Then we discovered the whirlpool was out of order, as were the sun-beds. There was only one lounger in the spa, so we couldn't relax together. I wanted to book a massage and other treatments, but was told it wasn't possible because there wasn't anyone there to provide treatments. No one apologised when we asked about the facilities, they just told us there was nothing they could do. We would have stayed somewhere else had we not already paid in advance. Also, in the morning, the coffee machines were broken and the breakfast was very basic, not at all luxury as advertised. Such a disappointing stay. If you are looking for a Wellness Hotel, this is not the one.

  Lovely stay

  Lovely hotel, clean and comfortable, is very outdated in decor could definitely to with a reverb, some of the furnishings looking quite tired and out dated. But beds are lovely and comfortable, really good swimming pool area and decor in the pool area is lovely. Also breakfast was delicious with loads of choices and fresh. We wanted to try the dinner but make sure you book as we didnt and the restaurant was fully booked when we went down to eat. Nice grounds to have a walk around.

  Excellent stay

  Stayed for a few days over the weekend, lovely hotel, not modern but classy and traditional. Very clean and helpful staff. Pool and wellness area excellent. Worth noting that the wellness area is a no clothes area except on Tuesdays. Will definitely return for a spa break.

  Great for couples

  We have stayed at this hotel over 20 times now and every time we enjoy our stay. Great reception always a welcoming face. The staff try to help when they can and speak english. The rooms are ok for us but others may think a little dated. They do lack a kettle in the rooms, but this is policy for all Fletcher hotels we have stayed at. Breakfast is continental. The restaurant does offer meals with various prices. The big draw for this hotel is the wellness suit and pool. very nice to use and relax after a day in the local area cycling and walking.The hotel offers EKO Tours which are fun. Overall a great hotel for us and we will always return.

  Quiet location

  Nice location for walks and cycling, but a bit too old fashioned to exite. The rooms are ok for 3, and the food is ok, but not special. There are often special discounts available for this place, better wait for these.
