  A very low two stars hotel

  We booked this hotel at the last minute as we had to make a change of plans and this two stars hotel was all we could find. When I called, the receptionist told me that all that was left was a superior room in the back as the hotel was full. This is a two stars hotel and the price reflects it so that was not really a problem and the back rooms are quieter than the ones giving on the street. I also reserved a table for that night at the restaurant. The restaurant was the high point of our stay.The dining room is elegant and attractively decorated. It was advertised as "cuisine gastronomique" and it was. The food was excellent, the presentation superb, the service very attentive and the price ridiculously low. We were surprised to see that there were only four other guest there for a hotel that was supposed to be full. Our room was average size but that was the only good thing about it. The drapes were ripped, the doors were covered with spots and the floor needed cleaning The bathroom must not have been remodeled for years and the bottom of the shower was covered with mildew. The breakfast was average,buffet style, we were the only guests there too and nobody came to acknowledge our presence in the dining area. As everything was on the buffet we had no problems to serve ourselves and have a quiet breakfast. When we checked out we found out that only five rooms were occupied and that they never should have told us that the hotel was full. I would not recommend the hotel but the restaurant is really worth a detour in you are in the region and can stay somewhere else.

  Good value, nice restaurant

  This hotel is in the city center, reasonably price, and very nice staff. We had also a very pleasant evening in the restaurant, very authentic french restaurant, all the food was lovely, and excellent wine and service.

  Between 3 and 4!

  If I could have given 3.5 to Hotel de France I would have done. Room and welcome we're ok. I thought the breakfast was very average. The only home made products seemed to be the jams and two out of the three were rhubarb! Most products were mass produced supermarket stuff. Would have hoped for something better. The hotel itself could do with some new inspiration

  Hotel sencillo

  Habitación buena. Amplia y con claridad. El baño un poco antiguado. Acceso a la bañera solo apto para personas en forma. Debería mejorarse el aislamiento acústico. Bonne chambre. Salle de bain un peu démodée. L'accès a la baignoir est seulement pour personee en plaine forme. L'isolation acoustique devrait être améliorée

  Great beds

  Stayed one night during out cycle tour. Good safe storage for y cycles. Ate in hotel rstersuant which was very good. Rooms didn't live up to the standard of the hotel or its resteraunt but had a great nights sleep on a very voi bed
