  Trendy secluded getaway..!

  I could stay only one night in this property as i had to return home before schedule due change of plans, however i can vouch that it was quite a refreshing experience. The best thing i like about De Chom villa is that its not boxed to the regular boring hotel standards . Perched on a small hill along a village road, its exotic, small, and intimate. Drive from Phuket international airport to the property takes approximately 25 mins. It is good to plan your stay here if your itinerary includes similan islands, Phang nga bay / National park etc . Rooms are spacious and have an upmarket feel. The sheets are clean and furniture well kept. They grow organic veggies & fruits in their backyard which they use for their in house kitchen. Delicious thai food is always on the menu and you can always pre order continental options. You can also use the bicycles to take a stroll around the village in the evening.or take a trip to the local village market The property Manger Ms. Yupadee is super attentive to your needs makes you feel at home . The staff in charge of room keeping and kitchen are also very friendly and nice I would highly recommend this property to everyone who enjoys tranquility.

  Luxurious mountaintop Hideaway near Phuket

  In half an hour drive from Phuket airport, in a remote green mountain area you can find this luxurious villa with an open layout. Only 4 rooms with sufficient staff to cater for all your needs. Located ideally to explore Phang Na limestone coast (James Bond island), The staff is more than willing to drive you to the jetty and arrange a private long tail boat. Rooms are individually designed.(two of them in a separate bungalow, all pool acces) Dinner can be ordered in advance, but not really our taste. There are a few seafood restaurants at 20min drive. Bikes are available. Communication with the Thai staff is not always easy but a good humour and some gestures get you all along. The manager speaks good english and is only a phone call away.

  Nothing less than great....

  While going through a large number of reviews, trying to make the best plan for our vacation to Phuket, a came across De Chom Villa. When I read about the concept, I knew from the beginning that this would be a great choice. It was not only the fact of value for money, but also the thing that all people that had already visited the place, were talking about a family friendly lodging facility. Going on vacation for the first time with our two and a half son, all our plans were normally bringing him on the center. So, the fact that the Villa was only 30 mins. from airport, in a peaceful place, so close to nature made the whole package even more appealing. From the first time we arrived, both Yupadee (Owner, fluently speaking English, extremely helpful, answering all our questions and meeting all of our needs on the fly, even before our arrival) and staff tried to make our stay as comfortable and pleasant as possible. Staff is barely speaking English, but they have the most positive attitude, so with a little bit of Google Translate, a little help from Yupadee, everything was arranged smoothly. Yupadee arranged Chay to drive us around the island (with a car seat included!!!!), for a reasonable price and in general, he was always available whenever we needed him. Food was always well cooked and chef paid extra attention on our baby's needs. I still have the taste of the fresh blue crabs that chef bought for us from the market, to serve us for dinner. Or the last breakfast we were served, which was specially taken care of, giving us the sense of "farewell" from the staff. The rooms were crystal clean, having all the comforts of high end hotels. Now, what can I say for the location!!!! I come from a small Greek island, so believe me when I say that I have experience of peaceful places. So, this Villa gave us the 4 most peaceful nights that we had for a long time now. You could hear only the sound of night birds from nearby forest or the sound of the water running from the pool. In general, the location is amazing, especially for those who appreciate peace (for those who visit Phuket for its nightlife, well....it wouldn't be your best choice) I leave and work in a busy metropolis in China and as I have heard that Phuket's hotels are full of Russians and Chinese, I thought it would be better to select a more isolated location. Furthermore, for me, as a hobbyist photographer, De Chom's location was actually a bonus.... Of course there are some things that, in my opinion, should be considered from management, related to the promotion of the family friendly setup of the Villa. The first and most important is that the access to the pool is totally free. Each small villa has a small porch. So, if you run from inside the room and jump from the porch, you end up inside the pool. For a grown up this is so much fun, but at the same time, for a baby this hides some dangers. I believe that if the access to the pool was not so free, it would be a great improvement in safety. Second, is the mosquitoes. I actually do not know if management could do something about it, because we are talking about some villas, in a tropical island, next to a forest, but I have never been bitten from so many mosquitoes in my life. The staff was so kind to bring us some mosquito repellents, but unfortunately I wasn't so lucky. Finally, I believe addition of a playground or something similar, would be a great upgrade of the family friendly image of the villas. The space is not a problem there. Nevertheless, above issues were minor to ruin our great time. The services provided, gave you the impression that you are staying in a friend's house and not in a hotel. If I ever had the chance to travel to Phuket again, then De Chom Villas would be my first choice!!!!

  In a fabulous fairy tale

  We spent 11 nights in this amazing place and we are looking to go back soon! De Chom is a beautiful thai villa with 4 room. Elegant and in the heart of beautiful nature. There are 4 rooms, 2 in the main house and 2 in 2 small villas around the swimming pool. All there is so perfect: clean, well kept. Our room was not huge but comfortable with a nice bathroom, Air con and smart tv( a must). A great wifi is always available for free. The kind owner and the lovely staff are taking care of you as a prince! Great breakfast on the terrace, prepared by a skilled cook, as the unforgettable dinners with organic products.All was so perfect! Great thank you to mrs Dee and her fabulous team, they made our stay a dream! If you like true Thai 5 star life... De Chom is the place!

  A great visit

  Had a really enjoyable couple of days here. Beautiful complex and we stayed in the poolside Villa which had a TV, shower room and outdoor bath. The people were so friendly and provided great hospitality- offering us towels and cooking an excellent Thai dinner and breakfast. Would definitely recommend and stay again. :)
