  Stay away from this group of hotels

  Got shoved here after our rooms at Green Batara were given away without any rhyme or reason. Upon check in, discovered stains on the bedsheets and requested for replacement. Housekeeping took almost 1 hour to respond. Requested for hair dryer, had to call down after half an hour to remind them then it was brought to the room. Also requested for extra pillows and was told "sold out" after the reminder call. Breakfast was bleah, you are better off eating outside.

  Truly horrible experience

  My mum and I were in Bandung on a private tour organised by an agent from Singapore. He booked us this hotel and we were supposed to stay for three nights. Room: The room was most basic, with only a bar of soap and bottle of shampoo provided. The shower was clogged with clumps of hair, and the floor was sticky and stunk of urine. It really smelt like a public toilet. Staff: The staff were mostly unable to speak English, even the most basic words that one would expect a staff in the hospitality industry to know. Our night was horrible as there were groups of local children running up and down the corridor. One group sat on the floor right outside our room and were laughing and shouting through the night. We went out several times through the night to ask them to move, but they refused to. We called the concierge for help, but they didn't understand my complaints about it being "noisy", instead repeating over and over that I wanted "coffee". Instead of asking the children to quieten down, the staff came to our room and asked to fix our room light?????? AT 2AM NO LESS. It was outrageous, and we were unable to get any sleep that night. The next morning we went down and requested to either move room or check out early, but even that the staff did not understand, so we just packed up and left. Food: The one breakfast we had there was dismal. The food was cold, and there was very limited variety. The dining area is at the Basement 2 level. The walls of the dining area were covered in black mould. Didn't eat much because the food looked quite sad. Ordered mie goreng from room service, it was soaked in oil. We left our empty plate outside our door at 5pm on our first day, it was not cleared when we checked out 9am the next day (despite the many staff coming and going). All in all a horrid experience and will never return.

  Not recommended

  Stay for the 1st time on 3rd floor, i slept at 11.45pm, it was very noisy on the upstair (door slammed 2x, something heavy shifted several times, people laughing, glass fall). First i thought the noise came from other room, i call receptionist at 01.32 am to change my room, it was rejected. Then i call the receptionist to hear what i heard and also i check the sound from nearby room, there was so quite, and i asked where the noise come from. I asked is there any activity upstair, he said yes, there was other employee upstair. I asked him to inform them not to make noise, and he said very sorry. After that, it was so quite, no more noise. I will never come back to this hotel, terrible!!

  Great location for non fussy

  Basic room standard. Cheap. But not luxurious.... Room is old thou..... Needs a bit of upgrades. Near to shopping areas. If not fussy and hope is only to have a place to sleep this is it...... stayed here a night only.

  Beg to Differ

  After reading all the reviews, I decided to take my chances by booking this hotel and it pays off. Simply put it, we had a great time here. Especially on how inexpensive we paid for the rooms. Room were well maintained. Spacious too. Friendly staff. Perfect location. Nice breakfast served daily. On the negative side, they should provide iron for usage by the patron instead of charging us for ironing our clothes.
