  This place is magical, its how you imagine ancient China

  We arrived and it was snowing, the place is like something out of a storybook. A four thousand year old village turned into a hotel! The staff is exceptional, Donna was our translator and she was amazing. She gave us a tour of the grounds, arranged a driver and tour guide for us, arranged our dinner plans. It was like having a personal assistant ") We had a room overlooking the river which was incredible, if it wasnt so cold we would have kept the windows open. The rooms were immaculate, quiet and beds very comfortable. My husband is very tall and it was no problem. There are several things to see nearby. For dinner we ate at the restaurant and had local dishes, all were delicious. I cant say enough about this place.

  Living in history

  It was a very pleasant surprise went I first walk into my room. As a business traveler, I have seen, and experienced many hotels around the world, and this is one which surprised me the most, and you can see why from the attached photos I have taken from my room

  Amazing trip into history

  What a wonderful stay we had at this beautiful hotel. It was magical arriving at night seeing the cobbled streets lit up by lanterns. We stayed in the new section which was very comfortable but we made sure we had plenty of time to wander the cobbled streets and over the bridges. Breakfast and lunch were both excellent. Some difficulty with language in checking in but google helped us out. Would highly recommend a visit.

  Travel back in time to Ancient China

  You were clearly in an ancient Chinese village with all modern amenities. Air conditioning, WiFi, comfortable rooms. Very unique property. Wake up to the sound of birds chirping instead of the sounds of a big city.

  Exzellent journey into a modern version of ancient China

  Ever wanted to live in a village of ancient China, however, dont intend to miss any of the modern achievements? Living in small houses - newly built with air-con and floor heating. Everything in walking distance, yet still the indulgence of club buggies, if more convenient. Very positive surprising is the breakfast buffet - since deep in China, focused on the Oriental taste, however, also a Westener can find a nice selection. Try as well the other Restaurants on the estate. Excellent food. Chinese Language required for ordering.
