    Not up to par . . .

    Price was OK and we didn't expect the Ritz but I was taken aback when told there would be an automatic charge on my card for incidentals. Hmmm, is this the trust they have in all Wyndham Gold Members? The room cleanliness was "OK" and bed quite comfortable. So, things are looking better . . . till breakfast. Not an ounce of protein - nothing. What the heck do they think qualifies as "hot breakfast"? Don't like Coralville, don't like this hotel. Won't be back.

    Great location to get to the University of Iowa Hospital to be with our daughter who was a patient there.

    Slept very well on the mattress that night. And had a room right by the breakfast area so enjoyed that convenience. If staying in that area again, we will choose the Days Inn again. Would have liked to have had a choice of different flavors of yogurt that morning, bud did have a waffle and that was delicious.

    Great building service lacks some

    Beautiful room absolutely loved the hot tub just a shame the pool in the dome area was closed given that's why I booked this hotel. And I was told upon checkin rather than when I booked it which seems a little dishonest. Upon checkout my fiance forgot a shamrock necklace kn the bathroom sink upon calling 45 minutes later we were told nobody found it but a manager would go look and call us back....nobody ever called us. I will return to this hotel as the property is so unique but I hope the customer service does improve

    Very Disappointed

    I have stayed at this Days Inn a number of times and in general been pleased. The last couple of times I have noticed a shift in their customer service and finally last night was just unacceptable. I had booked a room with them through Wyndham and I am a long time Diamond Rewards member. If available, I am supposed to be upgraded to my preference of rooms. They have always honored this in the past. Last night at around 9pm I called and spoke with Chuck who was working the front desk to make arrangements for the upgrade. He swore inside out and backwards that they were sold out of my preferred room and therefore couldnt do the upgrade. I told him that was strange since I could still go online and book that room online as there was more than one still showing available. I then told him I would be happy to get the Wyndham Diamond concierge on the line and we could go over what Wyndham shows in the system. He reluctantly agreed and then made me "hold" for over 16 min. He didn't actually put me on hold, he just set the phone down as I could hear him talk to one gueat, argue with another and then chit chat with someone else entirely. After almost 17 min of "holding", we gave up and Wyndham canceled my reservation with Days Inn and got me another room in the same locale at another Wyndham hotel that actually honored the Diamond Rewards. He called back about 10 min later (right after Wyndham had cancelled my reservation with them) and said he couldn't put me in a room they didnt have and I explained that as it was showing in the system as available when it wasn't meaning online someone could have booked it for full price and then had no room when they arrived, that I was certain that Wyndham would be checking into the reservations system and its errors for that location and explained Wyndham had got me all set at another hotel. I just find it really interesting that when a hotel jas about a 20% occupancy rate for that night that they weren't interested in my business especially as I have stayed there many times and booked other business for them. I obviously will be taking all of that business elsewhere since either the desk clerk was flat out lying or their reservations system is so messed up that they are offering rooms to the public that aren't available and you have no idea of whether or not you will actually have a room even if you have a reservation. Here is a screen shot taken at 10:30 pm showing the room I had requested and was assured they did not have, was still showing as available in the system over an hour later.

    It was ok

    My family and I rented 2 rooms for 5 days. Honestly if it was for the front desk lady Ceirrah, we would have changed hotels. The first night we got there in one of the rooms (one was an accessibility room) , the bedsheets hadn't been changed. One of the beds was broken, the curtains were missing in one of the rooms. When we went to the manager, I don't know if he was over worked but he wasn't the nicest while we were there. when we went to the front and chatted with Ceirrah she was very apologetic about everything and help us fix the situation.
