  Great for what it is.

  We were driving back from Houston to our home in SC. Due to a number of things we got a late start leaving Houston. About 8 pm we pulled in to get gas and food and decided to stay for the night and rest up for the rest of our trip the following day. This was a sudden trip and so we didnt have a huge travel budget and this place was right of the highway. I never go in and expect Days Inn to look like a Marriot. For a budget hotel, this place was great for what it was. The room and bathroom were clean. We were on the backside of the property which was quite. The do have a fridge and microwave. The lobby was nice and inviting and the young lady who checked us in was very pleasant. We got out of the cold weather and the room heated up rather quickly. All in all this room was pleasant and I would have been happy to stay here for a few days if our trip had been longer. There is a restaurant on the premises, but we had already grabbed Taco Bell and we were ready to go crash and take a shower. They did have free breakfast but I think it started at 9 am and we were already gone by then and just grabbed something up the road. It is easy access from the highway. And there are a number of restaurants and shopping close by. There are only two things I want to mention. We were told we were getting a king sized bed. What we got was a full sized bed. My husband is 6'3 and over 250 so he takes up a lot of space. This was a tight squeeze and his feet were hanging off the bed. I am sure we could have switched rooms but as this point we were just to exhausted and it was just one night. Had we been staying longer I would have gone and gotten us a room with a bigger bed. From the minute we left the Georgia state line we seen casinos after casinos. This whole area is big on gambling. And much like Vegas you can find them everywhere. Next door is a gas station with a casino. The people hanging outside looked a bit shady. So I would just use caution if going over there late at night. Other than that I have no complaints. Now I gave it a 4 not because it is a 4 star hotel. It isnt. It is your standard budget hotel offering a clean place to rest. And they do the very well and thus getting a 4 from me.

  Very Disappointing

  No smoking room smelled strongly of smoke. When I reported it to the front desk she gave us some spray, which helped. Said it didn't smell like that earlier 'when the room was cleaned'. The table and night stands had thick sheets of glass on top. It looked like coffee had been spilled and gotten under the glass all over the table. No stoppers in the sink or tub, so don't accidentally drop an earring or anything small in the sink. In the small bathroom, the ceiling was peeling badly and the light was a small (about 2') bare bulb fluorescent shop light stuck on the wall over the commode. Overall --- very disappointing. We will not stay there again.

  Comfortable to stay for long road trip

  after 12 hrs drive, we were satisfied with staying there,,, all kind staffs and clean room ...there is chiness buffets next to lobby where the food was grest and cheap price. and very safety cuz there are night guard around property

  Nice stay with kind staff

  It's nice stay for 2 nights at Days Inn Jennings and I appreciated that the staff found my lost stuff and helped much. It did mean a lot to me. I liked clean room and good breakfast. Also, buffet restaurant which attached hotel was very great.

  Nice stay for 2 nights

  Good value with nice price and kind staff. Enjoyed convenient location to close everything that we want. Overall, nice vibe. Breakfast's more than expecting. We will return to stay if getting there again.
