  Good hotel for the price.

  This was a decent hotel. Despite being right off the Interstate and near the airport, it wasn't exceptionally loud. Restaurants are close by, but not in walking distance. The room was on the small side, which was only a problem for us because a member of our party used a wheelchair. He had difficulty maneuvering. That is on us as we didn't ask for special accommodations.

  Great room

  We usually stay here once a year. As usual it didn't disappoint. Bed was very comfortable and room was very clean. Check in was easy and girl at counter was personable. Room was across from ice machine and was still quiet.

  Disappointing breakfast

  We got two rooms, and I called ahead of time and was assured the pool was open and there would be a full, hot breakfast. The pool was open and the kids enjoyed that. For "breakfast" we were given a to go bag with a wimpy pack of muffins and one granola bar. I understand when they said the health department made them close the buffet, but if you can't come up with a better "to go" breakfast, get out of the hospitality business! Every room had a microwave and fridge...so get creative and don't take advantage of people by using a pandemic to profit. What about cartons of milk, cereal, oatmeal packets, fruit, packaged sandwiches and lots more. I asked to speak to the manager but was told they didn't have one as they were too small to have a manager...lol. I emailed but haven't heard back.

  They are trying...I hope

  Had not stayed here in a number of years, but you could tell they did try to improve things (much needed from our prior visit) and have partially succeeded. We did not complain to management, so not trying to blindside them but we were on the backside of the hotel and there sure was a lot of cars in and out of there, people outside etc. at all hours of the night...that was concerning. Our deadbolt didn't work, the room (carpet in particular) really needed cleaning. The door did not close as it should...as most doors do, so we had to be careful going in and out. The bed was comfortable.

  Room was filthy. Husband had several bites on him. Morning of check out we found bed bugs. Notified the front desk. Clerk acted surprised- but reading past reviews this was not a new problem. Got our money once. Wont get it again.
