  Handicapped room 103 was nice king size bed nice Big Flat Screen television the Air condition worked really well only compliant i have about the Handicapped room is that they need to install a Shower wand in the bathroom shower it was very hard for myself and my dad to use a regular shower with out the wand. also the parking lot is very well lit nice lighting. also the front desk staff is very polite also the motel is right across from the Hollywood casino will stay again if we are ever back in the Charlestown West Virginia area.

  WEEKEND GET A WAY

  We checked in about 1 pm after being on the road since about 7:30 am. We were very tired. I went in to the bathroom and found a big stain on the bath mat hanging behind the toilet. then I turned and saw 2 hairs in the tub. I thought ok. . . . . . do I complain or just relax and overlook it. I tried to overlook it until I went to the vanity sink to wash my hands. When I turned the light on I saw men's whiskers in the bowl along with a brown smear on the one side. I proceeded to wash my hands with hot soapy water and the brown mark began to disappear as the hot water just ran down over it. It had not even been wiped by the housekeepers. If it would have been, it would have come right off. We also took notice that our smoke alarm was hanging open and had no battery in the battery slot. I did call the desk and complain. She apologized over and over. I told her that I was a manager at a motel in PA and I was also sorry that I found all these things in one room and I was not looking for them. The next morning we took notice that they clean the rooms in pairs so there are 2 housekeepers in the room. They both missed all those things. There was no excuse for that carelessness. It also makes it look bad when we have COVID 19 to worry about. I sprayed our room with Lysol and left it dry while we went to dinner to help make sure our room was safe for us. We will go to that area again but will not stay at this Days Inn.

  I booked a room here to attend an event in Loudoun County Virginia. I was pleased from check in to check out. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. I found the room spacious and clean with an updated look. The bed was comfortable and the room quiet. They were not joking about the well lit parking park. I will stay here again.

  Travel Nurse

  Im a travel nurse and the hotel is not conducive to long term stay. Nice hotel and friendly staff. Too busy at night especially late night. I recommend a overnight stay but not more than a few days if working in Healthcare.
