Clean and Value for moneyI booked this hotel because this is an international brand hotel and only opened in 2009. It didn't let me down. Location: about 10mins walk from Zhonghuamen Metro station, it can be a problem if rain - RMB10-15 to city centre by taxi. Room: very clean, spcious, free internet access with deskstop computer inside the room (but BEWARE - don't input any personal credentials on the computer, it seems the computer was infected with some trojan .) Breakfast: available for room guests at RMB38 pp. I didn't try and unable to comment. Basic facilities but more than adequate for my needs. Will definitely stay with this property again. One thing I am not sure about - hotel arranged a taxi for me from hotel to airport - it cost me 140 yuan while my brother hailed a cab himself and cost him only RMB110 for the exact route. Did the hotel ripped me off along with the taxi driver? or Simply bad luck for riding a taxi with meter problem? Can someone tell me.

Great business hotelI stayed there only for a night in a business trip My room was so nice - spacious, clean and modern. It was also very quiet. The bed was king-sized and extremely comfortable and they prepare all the amenities you need in the room even a basket full of fruits ! I had a great night in this lovely comfortable room and enjoyed a fantastic international breakfast the next morning but in a cold dining room which was hotel's weak point . all the hotel's public areas like the lobby and the dining room was so cold ! I'm not able to give any comments about the location though , since It was my first time in Nanjing and I'm not sure where was actually the "central " ! but for a short business trip it was great .

In desperate need of renovationI spent 3 nights at this hotel during a trip down Eastern China. Things started badly when our taxi driver from the station evidently didn't know where this hotel was (despite having the address written in Chinese) and dropped us off in a completely wrong part of town. We eventually found our way to the hotel. The hotel is actually right near a metro station, so that is probably the easiest way to get there! (Taxi drivers can be pretty bad in China). The hotel itself was evidently built as quite a grand hotel, with a large foyer, though this is as far as the impressiveness goes. The floor we were on, and our room itself, had evidently had a bad water leak at some point in the past as wallpaper was peeling, the carpets and skirting boards were stained, and there was mould everywhere. This was very disappointing for a 4 star hotel. The breakfast was also terrible. Hotel breakfasts in China are generally not as good as in Europe, but this one was particularly bad with poor choice and cold/stale food. The coffee on offer was actually the worst I have ever had in my life. A positive for this hotel is the proximity to a metro station, making it easy to visit various sites in Nanjing.

Good hotel in NanjingThis is a very good hotel in Nanjing. It belongs ti Days Inn Chain, although it is not a standard Days Inn, it is much more better. The rooms are large, frige, coffe, etc. Good price. The restaurant offer good service with real chinese food. The breakfast is a little disappointed to westerns; coffe is almost cold, few options, orange juice (do not try). It is located near a subway station.

Good value for the priceLocated in the south of Nanjing city centre, the hotel is 10 min away from subway station by walk. Can get to Xinjiekou in less than 30 minutes. Price for value is good. Rooms are big enough as well as bathrooms and well equipped. Outside it is a bit noisy with a building under construction on the northern side of the hotel. Also subway line is just in front of the hotel and is running up to around midnight. Service is ok. However it is more dedicated to Chinese customers than western ones: music in the corridor at 7h in the morning, breakfast totally Chinese without black coffee...
