  Modern hotel

  New modern and clean hotel, staff is helpful but only one person speaks English. Breakfast is OK but a bit poor for western guests. The rooms are clean and spacious. Location is a bit far from the center, in the evening there is nothing to do at the area.

  Good Room but Location not as good

  The Hotel is at the city but it's near the shopping complex. Have to take a cab there about < 20 yuan. Room and toilet is clean. Provides you with the room slippers and also bathroom robes. But TV channels are all Chinese ones. Breakfast is good, has a variety of food but since it's not halal, we were only able to eat toast and drink tea. There is elevators and a bellboy to help you bring up your luggage. There is a small convenient shop and boutique at the lobby of the hotel. Wifi isn't strong inside the hotel room and it's stronger in the lobby.

  Good hotel poor location

  This hotel is of a good standard but it's not close to the town centre so I thought the location to be poor if you are a tourist. It's very close to the university so if that's the reason you are visiting Guilin it's ideal. The rooms were comfortable and clean and facilities were ok. However there was no bar at hotel and it was too far to venture into town unless you paid for a taxi. Not sure how much it costs overnight as were in a tour round China staying in prepaid rooms, but if it's reasonable priced and you want an over night stop then it's a good clean hotel with decent breakfasts. If you want to be close to town then this is nut the hotel for you.

  Great hotel, shame about the mould

  Hotel was nice, not a great location but we were being driving everywhere so location wasnt a priority for us. I thought it was all rather perfect until I came back one afternoon and found a man in the bedroom peeling away a piece of the wallpaper, apparently there was a mould issue, I wasnt happy at finding someone in my room without having been informed but I let him continue, he looked just as embarrassed as I was. The room was great, nice big room with a massive bed, sofa, great TV, great little bathroom with a strong shower. The bed was super comfortable, slept so well. View from the room wasn't great but the room was really nice so that didn't matter. Breakfast was the best bit for me, great little selection of Chinese and western food, all so tasty, and the bread was proper bread, not a cake imposter like most other hotels in China! The dining room was a decent size but go early to get there before the crowds.

  Business Travel Review

  My business travel reviews are simple and straightforward. The Days Hotel Guilin is a clean, well presented hotel that is not far from the Guilin train station. Check in for the hotel was simple (even for a non-Chinese speaking person like myself). The room was very clean, and nicely laid out. WiFi access was easy to setup, and there were no issues with internet speed (good, but not lightning fast). The hotel's restaurant had excellent food for lunch, and a well provided breakfast selection.
