  Small, but Very Nice! Love it!!

  The entrance to the hotel is quite obscured, so a driver who is not familiar might actually missed it. Once in, you are welcomed by several organic sculptures, a pretty spacious lobby, which also is the retail space for the house special tea leaves, tea cups etc. The rooms are fairly big, well designed in comfy shades. Only let down is they only have tea in the rooms, no coffee. They have a roof top bar, which I learnt is always full. So u have to rsvp for it. But it was so hot that evening we gave it a missed although they do have a last table available. Location wise, its just about 10mins walk from a shopping mall, and some street shops selling local food fare. The buffet breakfast must say it is one of the better ones we had on this trip.

  Boutique hotel - but showing signs of age

  This boutique hotel has a beautiful facade, and lots of art pieces peppering the interior. Unfortunately, more attention can be given to the rooms. I found a spider between my sheets. Beds also were minimally comfortable - there was no topper for the mattress and pillows were rather flat. 2 pillows are given for each double bed and hotel did not have many spare pillows to provide as well. On my first night there, the corridors smelt faintly like sewage and I asked the staff about it in case of a gas leakage or burst pipe. Staff said that this was normal. Thankfully, the room did not smell. The airconditioning was inconsistent as well and could not be controlled adequately. It was hot when we checked in, but freezingly cold in the middle of the night despite setting it at 25 degrees C. We ended up switching the airconditioning off. Wifi was very patchy and slow as well. The fridge was not cold despite switching it on to high. Service staff at the counter was good though. But given my experience above, I would not choose to stay at this hotel chain again.

  Great

  Nice, new and clean hotel with big room and bath room. Great staffs and services. However not all of the staffs are understand English. Breakfast was limited but comes with good quality but not my kind of taste. Room temperature seems hard to adjust (or cant be adjusted). Location not good but not bad, around 15 mins walk to city centre with 7-11 situated opposite to the hotel.

  Nice hotel in Chiayi

  My first visit to Chiayi and did not know where to stay. Booked HotelDay not knowing what to expect. To my surprise, this is a very nice and new hotel in Chiayi. The rooms are big, clean and zen looking. Toiletries used in the hotel is by a local Taiwanese brand and very luxurious. Hotel is in a good location and very near to the night market (10 mins by cab). There is a 7-11 nearby as well.

  Hotel with competitive and inexpensive price in Chiayi

  The hotel itself is quite good considering the affordable room rate. The lobby is spacious and there are many seats to relax for a while, and you can get complimentary coffee while use the iMac to do some web surfing as well. There is a complimentary parking lot just next to the hotel, so its pretty convenient. The room is clean and tidy with well-maintained facilities. Based on the room you book, there may or may not be window in your room. We booked a non-window room but have been upgraded to the windowed room by the courteous staff. The bathroom is not brand new but somehow clean enough. Overall, it's a good hotel for you to stay in Chiayi with its affordable price, and it's also not far from the train station or night market.
