  Lovely room with great service. Perfect location.

  I really enjoyed my stay. The concierge, Sabrina, was excellent and professional. The Breakfasts were tasty and well prepared. It is a beautiful location with easy access to walks along the ocean and also access to the Cook Street Village with its many cafes and various shops.

  Staycation over New Years eve

  My partner and I stayed two nights for a short vacation over New Years Eve. We are locals who live in Saanich and chose Dashwood manor for the location and character. We loved making the short ~7 minute walk into Cook St village where we had coffees and lunches from Bubby Rose, Brubike, and the food trucks; and two lovely dinners at The Collective Wine Bar and Pizzeria Prima Strada. Its such a lovely and vibrant little neighborhood and was nice to spend some time there. We also went for runs and walks along the water (trails and beach is right across the street from Dashwood) and even did a polar bear dip on New Years morning followed by a hot bath in our room. The jacuzzi soaker tubs in the rooms are so nice. I LOVED the view from our room which looked out over the park and the water. The trail along the water is wonderful and full of life with people and dogs walking and running and playing. The room itself was so nice and cozy and elegant. The bed was so comfortable, we had the greatest sleep. This was the best staycation!

  Romantic staycation!

  Even if you live in Victoria I highly recommend you treat yourself to a fun staycation. We felt like we were in a different country at times because of how luxurious the Dashwood is. Comfy bed, friendly staff, delicious breakfast and amazing location! We cant wait to return.

  Disappointed and Covered in Dog Hair

  Stayed in the Oxford Grand to celebrate our recent engagement. The floor and couch were absolutely covered in dog hair. We had trusted this hotel to follow their strict COVID cleaning guidelines but clearly that wasnt done. There was also no one on site to talk to about getting the room vacuumed. This place might not be for you if you have pet allergies. The couch also had its arm rest all chewed up and there were some stains on the spare bed. I reached out to the directly hotel but because I had booked with airmiles I was told nothing could be done. I just hope they have decided to follow their own cleaning guidelines by now. The B&B is in a lovely location right by the water and a short walk to downtown.

  Amazing Room, Ocean View with Humpbacks and Exceptional Customer Service!

  Our stay at Dashwood Manor went beyond all expectations. It was sort of a last minute booking and thankfully the Manager, Sabrina was able to book us a room for the weekend. She went above and beyond to make our stay in Victoria as comfortable and spectacular as it could be from the minute we booked with her, to check-out. The jacuzzi in the room really added to the experience, and I cant describe how breathtaking the ocean view was. We even saw Humpback whales right from our room!! Would highly recommend Dashwood Manor.
