  Good value for money, excellent service, delicious food

  We've stayed in the Parkhotel Residenz for a wellness weekend (two nights). We had a very decent price for the two nights and value for money is extremely good. Every staff member is very friendly and helpful. The meals (nearly full board, included in the decent price) are very delicious, a lot of choice and variety. The Residence has a nice and calm park at its backside, all rooms (with balcony) have the view to this nice park. The wellness area is quite spacious, but has only one steamroom and two saunas. Only the finnisch sauna is reasonably large, the bio sauna holds a maximum of four persons, the steam room about the same. There is a small pool to swim, a whirl pool and a few showers. No cold bassin. The area has a few rest areas with many couches, but folks tend to be talking all the time. The wellness area is a funny mix of textile-free (saunas) and clothes area (pools and rest rooms), but both "dressing styles" mix up (not in the saunas). The bedrooms are spacious (including a separate couch and table) and each have a balcony with chairs. The only downside is that the carpets and furnitures look "very used" (ie. ugly) and the room was not perfectly clean. Some renovation would be useful and a better eye onto housekeeping staff. All in all it was a very nice weekend in a very interesting town (the town where Pastor Kneipp invented this water cures).

  Lovely hotel with excellent service, delicious food, and wonderful hospitality!

  I have stayed at the Parkhotel Residence 5 times over the past 2 years. It is a very luxurious hotel with an amazing wellness area. The rooms are very large and perfectly furnished. The level of service that you receive from the staff is 5-star treatment! The staff knows my name :-) By far the best hotel and spa in Bavaria. The breakfast is an absolute highlight with plenty of options to choose from. The dining area is inviting in the mornings and an amazingly atmospheric in the evenings. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone that enjoys fine dining, peaceful nights sleep, relaxing wellness amenities, and impeccable service to stay at the Parkhotel Residence. I look forward to stay number 6! Thanks to the service staff and the greeting staff for making all of my stays wonderful!!!

  Stayed and Attended a Wedding Here

  Room was much larger than expected. Actually a suite on top floor with nice view of the garden below. Furnishings were very dated. Staff didn't speak any English. That not a complaint, just a heads-up to other foreign guests. Wedding reception was the best I have ever attended. Unbelievable food and service from the staff. Only looses points because it was more expensive than it should have been and because they advertise laundry service online but do not have one.

  Relaxation and new beginnings

  I always stay here when I visit Germany. The food is exemplary, the staff greet me by name, and the rooms are guaranteed for a good night of sleep. The wellness area is the most relaxing place I can think of. My favorite part of my stay is finding out what is on the dinner menu. Dinner for me is usually a 5 course meal that is prepared to order. The value of all the comforts I enjoy when I stay at the Parkhotel is far greater than the price.

  perfect stay in quite and relaxed atmosphere

  We had the spacious Messner suite, modern bath room with large tub, view into the garden area, very kindly arranged for us with flowers and welcome drink. The wellness area is so relaxing, in particular in the evening, dimmed cabins with lounge music. Very friendly and helpful personal. Breakfast with sparkling wine and ham / cheese from italy.
