Horrible StayFirst and foremost this hotel is very old and in very bad need of being updated. Upon arrival we were greeted in a friendly manner and served a beverage. After checking into the room I realized right away that there could be potential problems just by looking at the condition of the room. 1st problem, ROOM, we were on the top level overlooking the pool and the floor is made up of old rustic wood with gaps, I mention this because at night time and in the morning the idiots below us were blaring the television and talking loud so obviously you will be disturbed. 2nd problem, WATER. each day of our trip our room was out of water multiple times. I had to walk all the way to the lobby and ask them to fix it, sometimes they would and sometimes it would be for just a few minutes. Think about it, your taking a shower and poof, the water shuts off, this is what happened to us multiple times. 3rd problem, WI-FI. The hotel does not have wi-fi in no other part other than the cafeteria and bar area and the wi-fi is intermittent at its best. I recommend you get a pocket wi-fi or get your phone unlocked. 4th problem, ELECTRICITY. We lost power for several hours on 2 days of our trip. The hotel has a back up generator but it only powers the lights and sometimes the ceiling fan would come on. The air conditioner does not work with the generator and it is very very hot. Now, aside from this hotel being poorly maintained, the kitchen staff and cleaning staff were all very friendly, Irish was one of the workers that I remember and she was very pleasant and helpful as well the guy that runs the cafeteria. Having pleasant staff does not change my perception of this hotel, based on what took place, I WOULD NEVER STAY THERE AGAIN. Keep this in mind when choosing your hotel, the price is cheap but in the end next time, I will stay at a different location and pay more for our stay there and not have the same problems. You have been warned, thank you.

Wonderful StaffOur stay at the lodge was very pleasant. It was close everything, I enjoyed our breakfast and the little pool. It was a nice place to come back to after a long day of touring. I became very sick with an infection (which I got from somewhere else!)during the last day of our stay. In fact I passed out in the lounge area after we had checked out. The staff came to our rescue and promptly provided assistance and took me to the hospital. They stayed during the whole time I was seen, and they made sure everything was taken care of. They even paid for my IV antibiotics! They brought the rest of friends to the hospital and made us all bagged lunches as we were going directly to the airport after I was released from the hospital. They were truly kind and compassionate.

A home in CoronIt was nice staying at this humble lodge. situated along the road and town proper. The staff were friendly and very accommodating. Very near to almost everything needed. I love the wood carvings and the Photos! Nature pictures really nice and cool! What I like is that that have a clear book that is very informative reg Coron. Wonder if guests read it. And a bible on our desk. .. A swimming pool can be use but we are so tired on every tour we had. Love the breakfast .. garlic fried rice, danggit tocino and pancakes.. we also ordered yummy pansit and a diff. Spaghetti which we loved. thanks to Ate who cooks. The room we had have 3 beds and spacious with suffice electric outlets. Downside were the thin blankets and old pillows but the bed was nice and firm. A/C was bit noisy, The bathroom have defective toilet seats but to as water supply, it has good pressure. Will I recommend them.? yEs! Good staff, very nice location, nice rooms and nice food! Definitely will come back.. Thanks to this humble place! BTW.. MET NEW FRIENDS FROM THIS PLACE

Very recommendable bird tourWe used the last day of our Philippines trip to do this bird tour and really loved it. All of the guides are really knowledgable and experienced in spotting birds (we went with Erwin). The full day tour is spent in one spot where you are almost certain to spot three different species of kingfishers amongst other birds. In total we spotted around 30 species, many of them around the hide-out at the creek from where you could take amazing shots of the kingfishers (they are feeding them with buckets of alive fish, so they come really close as well). Other species were spotted on walks around the area which has many fruit trees and diverse habitat. I would definitely recommend this tour for anyone who is into birds and wildlife photography!
