  Getaway Birthday Weekend

  Loved staying at Dancing Bear in Townsend, TN. Clean and comfortable with a fun Welcome Basket. We loved our Fireplace, Hot Tub and rocking chairs. Our cabin was near our friends so getting together was easy. The Great Smoky Mountains were breathtaking even in December. Great hiking nearby with a Restaurant, shops and Dancing Bean coffee shop is the real deal. We cant wait to visit again.

  Christmas Retreat!

  My wife and I came here for Christmas - given new family schedules and COVID. Wanted to get away. What a perfect place for that. The cabin was beautiful, just the right size. The hot tub was an added bonus - clean and hot! We had Christmas Eve dinner at the Bistro. The menu and wine pairings were delicious. We will definitely come again. Thanks Dancing Bear folks!

  quiet cabin in the woods. perfect fireplace to chase away the chills.

  we loved our cabin, especially the fireplace. the staff was so accommodating for our stay. there were a few things that needed to be taken care of and the staff were so prompt. quiet and a lovely place to spend a few days. we have given our son's family Dancing Bear's info. perfect for a family.

  Relaxing and lovely

  This was our first time staying here (which isn't too far from our home), and we were not disappointed. It is a quiet and serene getaway. We were able to stay 1 night in a villa and 1 night in a cabin. Both were lovely, with fireplaces and hot tubs. I loved the villa--great kitchenette that included a stove/oven. I loved that the windows were high, so even with the blinds drawn, you could get lots of natural light. I also loved the cabin--cozier and more compact, with the microwave/fridge in the bedroom (more of a studio-style). The grounds are beautiful, with lots of small walks around the property if you don't want to take a real hike in the Smokies. Lovely & relaxing getaway! Would recommend and do again!

  Wedding

  Wedding and food was fabulous. Cabin was nice. Bed slept great!! Staff wore their masks and were so helpful. Small and cozy cabin.. Doe Knot is the one we stayed in. Hot tub on porch. Had to take a quick shower hot water ran out really fast. We enjoyed our time there.. we hope to return soon.
