Lovely stay in ParosWe had a 3 nights stay at this wonderful place. The hotel staff made communications very simple before we got there and made sure someone was going to pick us up at the port when we got there. From this minute, we had the chance to meet only nice people from the hotel. Always smiling, the owner was helping us with all our questions and trips on the island. We had a nice studio: clean, well furnished, nice balcony, quiet at night, cozy and good a/c system. The hotel is right by the beach (max 5 min walk), 10-15 min walk from the Parikia town and near restaurants/ mini market/ beach shops. We felt sad leaving, it felt like we were leaving our new home in the Cyclades. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend Damias Village to friends and family.

Cheap, spacious and all kitchen facilitiesAs we're touring the Cyclades we thought we'd give the hotel touts waiting at the ferry terminal ports a chance. We've seen them on Tinos, Naxos and Paros, just not Mykonos. We ended up staying in Damias, getting a lift to and from the ferry terminal, it was a bargain: spacious clean room with kitchenette and balcony for 30, which is a couple of blocks from the beach and restaurants. Definitely somewhere to stay cheaply for an extended stay on the island.

OK but not moreThis place is basically ok. However, the beds were not comfortable and internet was very slow. Some noise from road traffic and neighbouring guesthouse. Easy walk to beach partly along a road with much traffic.

Everything we neededThis was perfect! Basic but spacious and clean studio with everything that we needed. Nice bathroom, kitchen area (basic) and a little balcony. Less than five minutes walk to the beach! The room got cleaned every day and new towels and sheets were provided. The common area was well set up and clean with a big seating area and olive trees. The guys that run this place were very welcoming and gave us good recommendations of beaches and more. They also drove us to and from the port. The wifi did not work too well in our room. There is also a fair amount of traffic on the road outside, but nothing that bothered us too much considered the price.

Perfect locationWe were delighted with the location of this accommodation, a short walk from the beach, shops and Port. It was a great end to 9 days in Paros. The owner was really friendly and helpful and even paid for a taxi to transport our luggage and ourselves to the ferry in our final day, just to ensure we were fully looked after. The accommodation is spacious- a bedroom with lots of storage and a small table and chairs; there is a kitchenette, with a two-ringed hob; a small bathroom with a half bath (no plug and you hold the shower hose - no wall attachment- but we did just fine; a patio area off the room has a drying rack and two chairs with a table. The WiFi is temperamental but much better if you go into the communal seating area in the middle of the complex. Here, many others also choose to eat and socialise but you dont have to...It also took us a few attempts to work the air con properly but once wed realised it triggered off if the patio doors were even slightly ajar, we were ok. The roads flank the small complex on two sides (think of it being set in the apex of a triangle) and these are noisy, but we found we got used to it. Each day, cleaners changed the sheets (!) and towels and the rooms are swept and bins are emptied. (Dont forget that no toilet paper cannot be flushed in Greece). This is not luxury living but it is by no means uncomfortable or unclean. We would definitely say we were happy here! A great place to end our stay on the island.
