  Perfecto

  Atención dedicada. Manager perfecto. Información al minuto. Nos ayudaron alquilar la moto con sus contactos. Habitación impecable. Una ducha y baño muy bien distribuidos y limpios. Y lo más destacable, la cocina: desayunos y sobre todo comidas y cenas. La cocinera se lama Nanda, habla poco inglés pero compete hasta las recetas. Increíbles rollos de arroz con miel de coco para desayunar. Y el pollo co salsa agridulce es espectacular. Pájaros monos lagartos.... Plena naturaleza. El ruido del río es un lujo para dormir. Conexión con Dambulla correcta. Caminando al cruce 5 minutos para el bus. La carretera la están asfaltando estos días de enero16. El tuk tuk desde Dambulla 15 minutos poco dinero para europeos.

  Need improvements

  We booked the place for a 2 day residential event with 45 participants. On arrival I was received by the cockroaches in the room. The bed linen provided were not clean either. On the following day we booked buffet lunch and the service was so poor we had to stand by the kitchen door and keep yelling for the one staff who was serving to bring food to fill the buffet. Each time he carried a little dish enough for 2 or 3 when we booked for 45!!!. Finally the lady in the kitchen came out and said no more food. So more than half of the participants ended up with just plan rice and one curry. This cooking lady was still of the opinion that she had cooked enough for 45. But half way through serving buffet was empty. The same thing happened at evening tea as well. On a positive note, when we complained and asked for menues for next few meals, manager organized enough food from that night onwards and provided all what was mentioned in the menue.

  Fantastic staff

  The manager mr roshan was super helpful and was able to help us meet with all out requirements. The staff was super nice. The room was alil dated and had a musky feel But the nature around was just awesome with the sound of the constant river flowing it was super peaceful. They had ponies in the garden

  Thank you for giving me a memorable stay

  It was really a comfortable and memorable stay at Dambulu Oya Family Park. It is well located with in close proximity to the sacred temples and to Dambulla Town. The Manager Mr. Roshan and the staff were really helpful and friendly. The most important thing is the food they provided. It was well prepared and delicious. Certain ares needs development in upkeep and maintenance. I would recommend this Hotel for any local or a foreigner.

  The worst stay in Sri Lanka

  How does this hotel get such good grades is baffling to me. We got to see two rooms in this hotel (regular and deluxe) so I know more about this hotel than majority of guests there. The first room (regular) was bear concrete on the floors, even the bed was made out of concrete block, and a couple of old pieces of furniture. We immediately noticed a lot of ants and bugs everywhere, but the last straw were ants coming out of the shower when we wanted to take a shower in the bathroom that looked worse than prison bathrooms in Croatia. When we made a fuss they gave us the deluxe room which was a bit bigger, had tiles on the floors, and the bathroom looked better altogether. But unfortunately we didn't notice at first that the toilet was leaking so eventually everything smelled like piss. The number of ants in the deluxe room was big but acceptable. Breakfast buffet was also bellow the level we encountered in Sri Lanka. The nature around the hotel is nice though, it would be better if it was a camp.
