Such a magical spotAbout 15 minutes after the Daintree River Ferry crossing, we arrived at this beautiful place, right in the middle of the rainforest. Our cabin was spotless. The whole roof apex is glass, delightful to lie in bed, watching a tropical shower and then the sun through the tree canopy. And having a shower, feeling like you are standing IN the Daintree! Enjoying breakfast and dinner under the little pagoda out on the deck in the middle of the rainforest....very romantic and such wonderful experiences? Our breakfasts were included, generous and delicious. And we are so glad we booked dinners at the Lodge on both nights - the Asian-inspired Barramundi was the absolute highlight. The location is perfect for exploring, driving up to Cape Tribulation takes about 30 minutes, all on sealed roads. Daisy is so lovely and welcoming and gave us tips on what to see and do during our stay. She and her husband Scott manage the Lodge beautifully and it was a delight to meet their two little girls. Fantastic stay, don't miss out on a wonderful experience in the Daintree.

Stunning rainforest surroundsI only stayed one night at the Daintree Wilderness Lodge, but I will definitely be back for a longer stay. The cabins were well appointed and set in stunning rainforest, and all the environmentally-friendly touches around the lodge were really great to see. The staff were super accommodating, and it's pretty much impossible not to let the place relax you.

Spectacular settingSuch a beautiful place to stay whilst up in the Daintree. We specifically chose our accommodation to immerse ourselves in the Daintree environment. Fascinating history of the accommodation, wonderfully helpful hosts, delicious daily breakfast (included) of local foods as well as an evening meal (optional). The cabins are beautiful and despite the air con only operating in a timer, we were not hot with the breezes and the fan. I highly recommend staying at this unique and stunning venue. The full skylight in the cabin that allows you to look out into the rainforest canopy above as you lie in bed was magical.

Magical settingWe were overwhelmed with the beauty of this setting, the sound of the rainforest at night and the sun shining through the cabin from the glass windows. They are well appointed with everything you need and the bathroom was amazing. The restaurant serves good locally sourced meals and the staff are friendly. Its well located in the middle of all Daintree attractions and the staff provided good instructions for swimming safely and seeing some hidden gems. I would love to give it 5 stars instead of 4 but some service issues let it down. But the shining star of this place is the rainforest itself. If you want to immerse yourself in the Daintree and remember what life is all about, then stay here.
