  Muy buena ubicación

  -Habitación: amplia, camas cómodas. Buenas vistas. -Ubicación: ideal; justo al lado de la Estación JR Osaka. Otros datos de interés: -Buena señal de Wi-Fi. -Hay una tienda de conveniencia Family Mart y un Starbucks justo abajo del hotel.

  Great Location

  This hotel has a great location right next to Osaka Station which made it easy for us to travel around. The staff were friendly and accommodating. They even let us store our luggage while we spent a couple of nights in Koyasan. I would highly recommend this place.

  Not coming back

  We arrived half an hour before check-in time and tried to check in but a stone-faced front desk staff told us coldly to "come back later". When we got our room, we felt that there was a smell of smoke, even though it was a non-smoking room. We rang the front desk and the same guy came up to check and gave us his personal opinion that he did not detect anything odd. Nice way to acknowledge guests' feedback! We insisted on a change of room and the next one we got was slightly better, but it got stuffy at night so we didn't get a good night's sleep, unfortunately. Despite the central location and proximity to various departmental stores, we won't be back as there are other better hotels in the vicinity.

  convenient location for excursions

  Location is very good, just south of Osaka Station; I decided not to stay in Kyoto, but do daytrips from Osaka to Kyoto instead: in about 30 mins. either the Ultra-Rapid (direct) or the fabulous Shinkansen (from Shin-Osaka) takes you there. The station can be reached through an underground passage, just out the door of the hotel. Room was clean and fine, with a lot of funny warning signs (see photos!). No aircon, but a central system, which took some tuning to get the temperature right (but still a bit on the warm side). Breakfast (buffet) at the hotel is quite expensive, and not that special. There is a Starbucks out the door for quick brekkie. Family Mart on the ground floor, several restaurants in the basement and upper floors. A short walk takes you to the Umeda Sky building, for those interested in architecture; other than that is the neighbourhood uninteresting, so just stay here for if your doing excursions, using public transport.

  Good facilities with very nice staff

  I was stay here for one night. My room was 14 floor. Room is so clean and nice they provided Tea and coffee in the room and you can make your self. They has good amenities . Breakfast is so delicious. Staff are so nice with perfect service. If you visit Osaka I recommend this hotel . I really enjoyed thanks a lot OSAKA DAIICHI HOTEL family.......
