  Highly recommended!

  A wonderful stay! Gorgeous location with a scenic walk with large granite boulders and a lovely view from the ridge. Clean, cosy well equipped cabin with log fire. Close to Girraween national park. Friendly and welcoming owners.

  Quaint little cottage

  We spent two nights in Ballandean while visiting sundown national park and local specialty shops and restaurants. We knew the bush fire went through the area a few weeks ago, and we really wanted to contribute a little by staying in the area. Its sad to see the surrounding is so dry, but its great to see our lovely host and locals are in great spirit. The cottage itself is fitted with large bathroom and kitchen. The room was clean and the double bed was very comfortable. I was hoping to lit the fire but the temperature was just too hot. There is nice little veranda at the front for us to relax. We would recommend this place to anyone who wants peace and quiet.

  Charming cottage in an ideal setting! Special & unique.

  Couldnt believe my luck when we walked up to our beautiful cottage in a picture perfect setting. The fire was roaring and a bottle of Rose was waiting for us as a Happy 40th Birthday To me! Thank you! What a lovely touch! We took a stroll past jumping Kangaroos to pick up a bottle of red from a local winery. Comfortable, Cosy and very unique. What a special place x

  Lovely little get-away

  Stayed in the 2 bedroom cottage for 3 nights with husband and son. The cottage was well equipped and had everything we needed for our stay. Good location, with one winery across the road and several others only a short drive away. It was so peaceful and quiet especially at night...nice to escape the city noises. We spent two days hiking in Girraween National Park, which is about a 20 minute drive away.

  Peaceful and atmospheric

  We really loved staying in our cute cabin with a pot belly stove. The bed was comfy and there is a 2 hot plate stove top which came in handy. Although there are other cabins on the property, you feel alone and all to yourself, which is special. We really liked being close to some great vineyards and restaurants in Ballandean as well as close to the Girraween National Park. We were impressed with the owners positive response when we mentioned our noisy fridge and the cold during the night. They replaced the fridge and gave us an electric heater! We would definitely return in the future since it has a lot to offer.
