    Cheap, clean and comfortable

Good things about CT Hotel: 1. Price - I paid RM59.40 (including tax) for one night stay. Totally worth it! 2. Clean - I had no complain 3. Comfort - Clean and comfortable bed (i.e. no funky smell), additional pillow provided, air-conditioning and heater were working very well (I personally like the rain shower), towels provided 4. Helpful staff - I asked for iron and ironing boards and they delivered in minutes. Also, I had problem watching HBO midnight and reception was attended to. Within minutes, the channel was resumed. 5. Fast check in and check out - All I did was furnish my IC and sign on registration sheet. On the way checking out, I just dropped the key and remotes (which they gave us upon check in) 6. Plenty of parking - worry no more Point for improvement: 1. Toiletries - No indication whether it was soap or shampoo. I assumed it was soap and used it as so. 2. Spoiled toilet slide - The button came off but still lockable.

    Good price & location

The hotel is almost in the centre of the old town, on the same street as the famous KFC outlet which is at the traffic lights of the old town. There are convenience stores, laundry & some eateries along the same row as the hotel. There is free street parking. Our VIP family room had two king beds, enough room in the wardrobe for our luggage, nice lighting, mini fridge, free drinking water for 4, free coffee & tea, jug kettle, iron. Drinks & snacks in the fridge are reasonable, only RM1.90 for a 500 ml bottle of 100 plus. Bathroom was large & clean. There was a smell from the drainage hole but it didn't bother us. Btw, a can of scented spray is provided. Towels provided were really white, thick & fluffy, which I have never seen in budget hotels. Two extra pillows in wardrobe. Check-out for VIP rooms are at 1 pm instead of the usual 12 pm & we appreciated that.

    Good budget hotel

Hotel room price is affordable. They provide two places (ground floor and first floor) to make hot drinks like coffee and tea. Bedrooms, linens and bathrooms are kept clean. The place is relatively new so there are no old water stains and things are still in good condition etc. The bathroom has a soap dispenser that is attached to the wall. Look forward to the rain shower. :) The only drawback is that the hotel is filled with strong smell of incense and detergent. Best to get a room that is away from the main road to get a peaceful sleep. There are just too many heavy vehicles using the main road in wee hours. Overall, it is a good place to stay for a night or two if you are on budget.

    Clean & accesible budget stay

It was our first time visiting this intriguing Foochow town & were glad we stayed in this budget hotel. It was situated at the end of a busy street in the center of the town with a few eateries and groceries located nearby (all in walking distance). Booking was easy through a phone call (rates were cheaper than those published on their website). The reception was polite & accommodating. We booked a king-sized bedded room, which was clean. The bathroom tiles were slippery when wet but slippers were provided for two. For those traveling with breastfeeding babies (like ours), be sure to bring along a well insulated ice box to store your breast milk, as the refrigerator was not cold.

    decent budget hotel

The hotel is relatively new and the rooms are generally well maintained. For a budget hotel it is reasonably priced and roomy enough. The shower has decent hot water and there are coffee and tea making facilities available for use. There is also a little refrigerator in the room to keep your drinks cold. There are several food options nearby. Next to the hotel is an indian mamak stall and a chinese bakuteh stall. Plenty of free car parks infront. The only downside is rooms that face the roads are a bit noisy at night because of the cars passing by.
