Clean beds but that's about it. Bad reception but beer in the fridge.

We couldn't make any headway in conversation with the two stooges at reception, and don't use google translate as it doesn't work for Georgian correctly. They may try to ask for a bribe if you are late just a few minutes after checking in, well it felt like a bribe. We had to pay 40 Rel. It felt unjust as our bags were checked behind the counter but we were not due to get our rooms until the evening. So waiting to check in we went out for a tourist trip for the day, and had an argument with the receptionist guy, ended with sign language to sort things out. The evening/late receptionist was awful but the daytime guy was fine. Only if you are homeless go here, or if you left it to the last moment like us. Try something central. It's impossible to navigate on your first night away, streets are so busy with traffic your barely sleep even in the back room. But this does mean you can get a taxi however you have to put up with the heavily polluted roads into town; but it is worth it. The shower head was missing my room so had to use my brothers room, as we couldn't be bothered to explain. The offer of breakfast should be rejected with kindness, it may of been rejected elsewhere and just put in the fridge. I love'd Georgia so don't let a bad stay put you off as it's all in the experience and can be fun looking back at it. Goto Zestaponi and stay there!

    Terrible

We went there late August. It was a last minute booking, prices were high and that place seems like it was a good deal without being "too good". We were planning to stay 2 nights and did not care it was a bit far... First, location is really noisy. It is the main street from the airport. There is always traffic day and night, no pedestrian crossing or traffic lights around nearby. Not that Georgian drivers respect those things too much but if drivers have the right of way, as a pedestrian it could be outright dangerous crossing the street. Second, guy at the desk seemed like a drunk and spoke no English. I speak ok Russian and he told me that we have arrived a day early, so should pay more... (we were not) I attributed this to a lchohol but looking back I think they try to hit foreigners with extra fees.. Rooms looked dirty, sheets were dark red and just had the feeling that this place rents rooms by the hour... Good thing they had free WiFi and we booked another hotel immediately.

Never ever book this hotel, save your time and money

1st off, the hotel was a little over 10 mins walk to the nearest metro station, Avlabari, which is nice but there are a lot of hotels/hostels near the actual tourist spots and much more closer to metro stations. So book those which are 3-5 mins away from city center or metro station. 2nd is the breakfast. It only consists of a few pieces of bread (which was cold and hard to chew), a salad, an egg, a slice of cheese and black coffee. They dont even give you milk or cream for your coffee. 3rd is their horrible customer service. I encountered two lady receptionists during my stay. Both of them cant speak in english. The old lady who checked me in on my first night was very nice, but the middle aged woman who works during daytime is terribly rude. On my last day, I forgot to checkout by 12pm and the receptionist was shouting at me when I came back around 3pm. Although it was indeed my fault that I didnt checkout on time, they wanted me to pay an extra night just because of that. Good thing my driver named George from the tourist agency who came to drop me off to the airport showed up and talked to the owner and I just ended up paying 25 Gel. And 4th is the overall ambiance of the hotel. The floors are creaky, the light inside the room is so dim that its hard to move around. Toilet is a bit dirty and toiletries provided consists only of 2 packets of shampoo and 2 pcs of bar soap. So ya, there are a lot, and I mean a lot... of hotels and hostels in the heart of the city so dont book this hotel. If you want to save money, hostels are the best way to go. They offer bed and breakfast, and you can also meet people for a cheaper rate. Please save your money.
