  Cutest family-owned place, with a BnB feel

  My partner and I stayed here for three nights and loved every minute of it. The owners, David and Denise, are the sweetest couple and they add a lovely, personal touch. The hotel itself is calming and homey, with lots of plants and several comfortable common lounge areas. Our room was sparkling clean, the shower pressure and hot water was wonderful, and the location couldn't be better. All in all, a wonderful stay. We will absolutely stay here again. 10/10 would recommend.

  Welcoming Accommodations!

  This was our third stay at Cruz Bay Boutique Hotel. Denise and David are personable, welcoming and take an interest in their guests. The rooms are bright, clean and comfortable. The continental breakfast and fresh coffee is a great start to the day. The deck area is a perfect spot for reading or enjoying an afternoon/evening beverage. Looking forward to our next stay!

  Perfect!

  Had an opportunity to spend a quick 5 night trip on STJ, with Cruz Bay Hotel as the lodging. Never heard of it, on previous trips, despite walking past it multiple times. Could NOT have been located in a better spot! Easy walk from the ferry dock, even with rolling luggage. My wife and I own our own business, too, so we were delighted to see the husband/wife owners are VERY hands on. Denise greeted us upon check in, helped carry our luggage up to our room, made sure we had everything we needed and explained everything thoroughly. Room was exactly as expected...clean, comfortable, plenty of hot water, air conditioning and quiet. What else do you need? If you are wanting a fancy room, with frills, you're missing the point of visiting St. John! Wonderful little veranda to enjoy your morning Continental breakfast and coffee and people watch. Denise and David had great recommendations for beaches, restaurants, etc. We tried to arrange a Jeep, prior to arrival, but were not able to. What a great surprise to be able to just walk down to the ferry docks, hop on a taxi and not worry about parking around the hotel (or, at the beaches, too, for that matter). If you stay here and are looking to explore a few beaches and enjoy dining at local establishments, THIS is the place to stay. Would DEF recommend and we will be staying here again, when we are able to get back to paradise!

  Top Notch

  Highly Recommend staying here. The location couldn't be better, walking distance to any of the bars, restaurants and sights in Cruz Bay. But the best part was the staff!! Denise and Dennis were WONDERFUL! So accommodating. They answered all of our questions, gave great recommendations and even made reservations for us. They also provide little amenities that make the stay special/easier (bfast, beach chairs, beach towels, coolers with ice, etc). They couldnt have been nicer and we will def go back!

  Five Nights Were Not Enough!

  All the compliments about David and Denise are right on! They are an amazing couple and fantastic hosts. David and Denise have extensive knowledge of the island and I learned quickly to trust their recommendations. Every morning I would have some coffee and a Danish, and Denise would recommend restaurants and things to do. She was very quick to help with reservations for anything I needed. The recommendations were always on target - I ate well and enjoyed my time there (especially the recommended Kekoa Sailing). The hotel is amazingly convenient for anything I wanted to do. I did not need to renat a car as just about everything was in walking distance. The rooms were very clean and comfortable - had the best sleep I have had in a long time! DirecTV was available in the room to keep up with news and such. I chose this Boutique Hotel mainly due to the reviews (and I like boutique hotels), and the convenience. I loved the island and the people and will be going back soon. I definitely will stay again at Cruz Bay Boutique Hotel, just this time for a few more nights!
