  Buena alternativa en Zhongshan

  Siendo un crowne plaza hay un mínimo de garantía aunque en algunos detalles te puedes dar cuenta que estás en China y el personal no es lo suficientemente cualificado. El desayuno es memorable para ser un hotel de este precio y 5 estrellas, el resto de las instalaciones están muy bien.

  Staff need re training

  Stayed here for 2 nights in junior suite. The room was great. Clean and large. Bathroom was clean and large. Housekeeping was efficient. Executive lounge food is average and bar service poor. Executive lounge staff were ignorant and self absorbed spending more time phone surfing than actually doing there job. Reception staff were even worse. Little or no understanding of English. Could not assist in transport and allowed other guests to interrupt and barge in. Quoted 3000rmb to transfer to Zuhai. Then proceeded to say They could not arrange this and just get 2 taxis as there was 3 of us with 7 bags Only after a colleague intervened in Chinese did we get information to contact the driver direct to book and the cost reduced to 450rmb Staff seriously need to be re trained and more so be able to communicate and understand english I am an Ambassador member and find this type of service to be unacceptable

  Good stay but

  I stayed 5 nights, overall stay was nice. Rooms are big and clean, outside swimming is really nice (I wish there is no people smoking in changing room, smell is horrible) The problem is concerning the staff, not everyone but they mostly have very bad English skills and not very attentive. When I check out at 5:30am I asked a taxi to go Zhuhai airport, they instead told the driver to go the boat station to go HongKong airport. When I arrived I had to explain to the driver I need to go Zhuhai airport. I called the hotel but they could not understand any words of what I was saying so I managed myself. If you ask something specific they simply don't understand. I hat to run in the airport with 3 bags and a luggage and nearly missed my flight thanks to them.

  As always, okay for business travel.

  Some language barriers during check-in. The hotel is new and nice but after some time in the room I could smell mold and the ceiling was wet. At the next day the staff was not really interested about my complain. To stay longer in such a room could cause some health issues.

  Nice hotel, Comfy bed, but a little out of town

  We stayed in a club suite. The rooms were very spacious. The bed was one of the best things about this hotel. Breakfast was mediocre. I dont think they get many western travellers staying at their hotel. The food selection was very oriental. Staff were helpful in general, but most lack the ability to speak English. Service was good overall. The room lacked small things like tissue boxes. There was absolutely no tissue boxes around, not even in the bathroom. Only toilet paper, so if someone was using the bathroom and you needed a tissue, well that would be too bad. They also only gave you 2 bottles of water per day. The location is a little out of town. If youre like me and dont have access to wechat pay or Chinas version of Uber (which is a pain to sign up to), it can be quite difficult to get a taxi back to the hotel from town. There are 2 small shopping centres within 10mins walk from the hotel with mainly local brands. There is a Starbucks and a supermarket though for all the essentials. I would recommend this hotel if you have a reason to be in this part of town, otherwise, I would rather stay closer to the city.
