  Great Visit

  Zach and Anne at check in were very nice and accommodating. Large hotel for this size town. Free parking. Indoor pool was great. Common areas were nice. Escalators werent working. Rooms were updated and very nice. Plenty of hot water.

  Over all not great

  Room and view were good. Concierge was good as well. Bathroom had water damage to the ceiling big time. Carpet in hallway had holes in it. Concierge was the only person wearing a mask besides us in the hotel. Hotel was loud with screaming kids in the hallway at 1am. I picked this hotel bc it had a pool, hot tub n sauna. Hot tub and sauna didnt work. The pool area was dirty. I would not recommend this place.

  Depressing and creepy

  This is a huge property, geared for meeting, conventions, weddings, etc. Due to COVID restrictions, none of these are allowed. The place is deserted; there's space for probably 1,000 cars in their parking lot, and there might be 30 cars in the lot! No restaurants or bars are open on the property, and it seems as if you're in a "ghost building". The room was average, but it was very "creepy" staying there. Wait until the COVID restrictions are lifted before staying in this huge building.

  Pretty average, nothing special

  Stayed here for one night...meh, didn't do much for us. I had booked the room at the last minute through Priceline, and when we went to check in they found the reservation just fine, but there was some sort of a problem as to whether or not it was pre-paid (it was), so they had to contact Priceline, which took some time. I will say they were very friendly and apologetic. The room itself was just okay. With the exception of mold around the tub, it seemed fairly clean. The bed was hard as a rock, so I didn't get a very good night's sleep. I paid a little more for what I thought was going to be a larger room, but it didn't seems any larger than any standard hotel room; in fact, the angled bed made it seem even smaller. I know Crown Plazas are supposed to be on the higher end of IHGs spectrum, but I just didn't get a feeling of luxury. Of course for less than $100 I guess I shouldn't have expected luxury. Overall, the price we paid was reflective of the experience we had.

  I found dog poop in the corner of my room

  I decided to stay here because it has a swimming pool( it was nice to found out the hotel also had hot tube and sauna). The room's floor had small dog treats and the furniture were damaged. The coffee maker wasn't working. But my husband and I were in a rush to homeschool my kids since it was Friday and they had school. When the toilet started overflowing I decided to go to ask for a new room. I had not problem getting a new room, so when I came back my husband told me "we found dog poop". We moved to the room beside, the room looked like it was from another hotel. Newer, clean furniture, floor was spotless and of course coffee maker was working. I was surprised... Because I was thinking having my room like this in first place, since I am paying more than 100 dol(more than I pay for staying in a modern holiday inn). Something got stuck in my mind, and I felt worst when my husband actually told me the same I was thinking.He did the check in(while I was in the first floor), he is black and we have two kids. Did the receptionist give that trashy room on purpose?. When I went to ask for a new room I was in my military uniform and I got an standard room... Are the receptionist being instruct to do this on purpose? I mean, trashy rooms for family with kids/dogs. Even worst, trashy rooms for black people? so all I can think is from now on I will show my military ID for check in when I stay in other hotel but Holiday inn(I've never had a problem in this hotel).
