Ubicación céntrica, personal muy amable, buenas instalaciones, Habitación amplia y confortable, buena cama, limpieza bien, buen desayuno, parking en el hotel, una estancia confortable que se puede repetir, UN BUEN HOTEL.

Polite, professional Staff - Good Hotel
Well positioned right on The Hoe. Professional calm check in - reception rooms are modern and airy. and Our room was large and very clean - small but adequate bathroom (that included a bath) and was fine for a few nights. Had lunch in the restaurant as part of our deal. Food was delicious - beautiful views and our waitress Jess was delightful. All the staff we came across were exceptionally helpful and friendly.

Carpark built for ars from the 70's
Do not park in the car park of theirs. Especially the one underneath, its not wide enough for the modern cars and you are especially screwed if you have a SUV or bigger. Once you are committed in the car park you have to go around, the spaces are narrow and the corners are so tight. It makes it worse when you have people parking in none allocated parking spaces, 1 corner I had to do a 6 point turn just to get around, as cars were sticking out, parked in the wrong places and without care. Hence the massive scratch on the side door. Spoke to front desk, not much they can do and did not really care much, and they still charge you £10 a night for the privilege of parking in their tiny car park. NOT for the cars of now.

A better experience expected.
Stayed one night with my family, room 618, was nice, well decorated with good maintenance and a nice sea view. We didnt have the sofa bed set up on arrival, but that wasnt a big issue we just asked to set up while we left for a walk around Plymouth Hoe that was just in front of the hotel. We tried to make a reservation to have dinner in the Marco Pierre White steakhouse bar & grill restaurant but was fully booked, what was a shame, but understandable on a Saturday, but we ended up having some seafood by the Sutton Harbour, not far from the hotel. There was some issues with the lift during our stay and was being fixed between 21h till 22h that was sometimes noisy, and because the room is right in front of the stairs we were having the fire door bagging every time someone was leaving or coming in to the 6th floor, because the lifts werent working. Also during the night we could hear the swimming pool ventilation fans that become annoying. Most of us didnt really sleep well and we ended up staying another night away (not in the same hotel) as we werent 100% to keep our travel route. The breakfast was a big disappointment and made us feel sick afterwards. I attached a picture of how bland and unpleasant it looked. Some other items from my family were uneatable. Ended up having only the continental breakfast. Great view from the restaurant tho. We would come back again but expecting a better experience.

Jewel in the Crowne
I stayed here for 3 nights as a key worker. I had a spacious room overlooking the front with a large bed. The tv even had Sky Sports which was a boon for a football fan. The food was very good, the only change I would request would be a bit more variety apart from main meals with chips and burgers or pizza. But all of the food was very good quality. The takeaway breakfast was fresh and tasty. All of the staff were efficient and friendly. They did really well during these times to make the guests feel welcome I will be returning in April and look forward to it. Thank you!
