Heythrop saved Christmas! In a year that has taken so much from so many, this Christmas was more important to us than any other. I cannot thank the staff enough, it really does sound cheesy but they made Christmas so very special. The exceptional team made the stay worth it alone, from the reservations team (Charlotte, Kate and Olivia) to the final goodbye from the entertainment staff (Gaz & Georgie), the whole experience was brilliant. The general manager was there throughout our stay, he took the time to greet us, talk to us and take us on a resort tour, which was fantastic. We stayed in the Manor House (Camilla room) which was stunning, huge, and the views incredible. The Manor House itself was just delightful. I would highly recommend upgrading to stay over in this part of the hotel if you can; its full of character and charm. The staff have ensured that the hotel is fully Covid safe with hand sanitiser stations thoughout and one way systems where needed. We used the leisure facilities and had the pool to ourselves. The pool was nice and big, perfect for the kids. Currently due to COVID, you need to come swim ready (completely understandable) and we used the toilet area to dry off and put some dry clothes on, but you do have to walk 2-5 minutes outside to get back. This wasnt a problem for us, we took onesies! The food was delicious, breakfast is freshly made to order with a great selection on the menu. Evening meal was very good and the service was equally great. Our waiter made the children origami frogs and birds. There were just little touches throughout the stay, which was just so lovely and thoughtful. Our Christmas Day lunch was incredible; it was served in the orangery, which was a stunning setting, party poppers crackers and Christmas music playing, wine ready to pour and warm bread served instantly. From start to finish the whole experience was truly wonderful. The entertainment team came towards the end of the meal to take the children on a Christmas scavenger hunt, where they had to run around the hotel to find Christmas clues and presents left from Father Christmas. Needless to stay this was a huge hit for them, and us as we sat back and had our coffee in peace. We certainly will be booking again as soon as we can, we cannot wait to come back once you reopen. Thank you so much Heythrop Park for absolutely everything. An unforgettable Christmas.

Excellent stay with fantastic staffWe stayed on Xmas Eve and Christmas Night and had a really lovely time. The food was excellent and the staff were so friendly they couldn't do enough for us. We were a little sceptical at first, because of the current situation but we had a truly memorable Christmas. We hope to visit in the New Year, only next time with our family fingers crossed.
