  Un par de días en Denver

  Queríamos quedarnos un par de días en Denver para conocer la ciudad después de pasar una semana esquiando en las montañas. Está situado bastante céntrico, y es un hotel normal. Limpio y cómodo, aunque sin grandes lujos.

  They apologize for the inconvenience.

  The place is pretty when you walk in but you have to find your own way there. I booked this hotel through Priceline because it advertised a hotel shuttle. I've been flying in and out of Denver for the past few months for work. This is a the first hotel that has cancelled their hotel shuttle service for Covid. Now. I'm a reasonable person. If they hadn't advertised a shuttle service I wouldn't be upset. I called to cancel the reservation right after booking because it costs over $20 each way to get there from the airport. The front desk was abrupt. Wouldn't even give me any advice on how to get to the hotel other than uber (train and bus wasn't bad). I try to cancel through Priceline they tell me to call the hotel. I call the hotel they tell me to call Priceline. Neither representative will pass me on to a manager. I finally roll up at 11:30 to check in and they tell me that they won't check me in until 4pm. You are telling me that in this pandemic where the parking lot is practically empty that they can't try to accommodate my inconveniences at all? I will never stay here again. Frankly, the Crowne franchise has been lacking across the country.

  Very nice and clean.

  Stayed for just one night but was very impressed by their service, cleanliness and not to mention the water feature. Very convenient location to the Denver airport as well, just wish their shuttle was currently operational.

  Still an Awesome Place to Stay...

  I have stayed here before... well before the Covid-19 Pandemic, and each time - the Front Desk was helpful, kind and accommodating. The General Manager has saved me with the airline mix-up of my luggage in the past - and did not fail to personally welcome me back this time. Even though a lot of the things that were available before the pandemic were shut-down, the staff still was making the best of it and trying their hardest to make me feel welcome and offer what they could to make my stay and trip to the airport as comfortable and normal as possible! I value the personal touch of business, and this place always makes me feel like they remember me and are amazingly helpful!

  Can't use COVID as an excuse for everything.

  I recently stayed at the Crown Plaza near Denver Airport for one night. It seemed as though all of the hotels amenities- restaurant, shuttle, workout facility, pool. The hotel actually looks halfway modern in the huge empty atrium and lobby. Step behind it and you go back 10 years or something comparable to a Travelodge. The bathroom rug had blood on the bottom of it, the pillow case had a black stain on it. The shower had black hairs in it. NOT VERY CLEAN...I wonder was this COVID related? There are plenty of restaurants in the area for a short drive or if you like to walk they are very walkable and the area appeared to be safe. Would I stay at this Crowne Plaza again? Probably not. Too many other options in the area I've stayed with that have CLEANER and more amenities.
