  A MUST stay while in the area

  I travel a great deal and have stayed in all the hotels around. This is by far the best around! Marcus and his staff are always so helpful and welcoming. While you are there you have to meet Sheriff. He is amazing!! Always happy to help and makes you feel like royalty!! He is a great guy and so good at his job. A real people person! I'm always welcomed back and it is for sure my home away from home.

  Beautiful Hotel, However, Has Some Issues

  This hotel is wonderful to look at. However, the parking garage is on the opposite side of the building from the elevators to the rooms, and they do not seem to have a lot of luggage carts. The televisions are old, and we had an issue with getting our Roku to work on it. The thermostats are also confusing. On the positive side, there is a walking path outside with water features and the staff is friendly.

  Wedding at the Ravinia January 30, 2021

  My husband and I recently got married at the Crowne Plaza Ravinia and we had just a wonderful experience! The hotel is beautiful both inside and the outside gardens, our photographer captured some amazing shots for us. The guest rooms were great, the ambiance in the hotel was was cool, and the food was fantastic! Our guests had a wonderful time attending our wedding and reception. Special shout out to Julie Bilecky, she's incredible and made our experience so memorable. The entire team is awesome so we also have to thank Sharon Kilmartin and Drew Smith. The team has done amazing work with this hotel, everyone we invited to our wedding had a great time and has continued to comment on the event. A final shout out to the bar staff, we had an unofficial pre-party and after-party in the lounge area. Everything was great and couldn't have been happier. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area because of what the hotel itself offers, as well as the surrounding areas including the mall, other shopping centers and restaurants.

  No one saw us!

  This hotel was impeccably clean and met our needs as a family of four for the night. I am happy to say that this was a good choice on our part to get away and recharge. Pool and gym area was very clean. Not a soul in sight! We enjoyed Thai food from nearby in our room and my husband was able to get plates, utensils, and napkins delivered from room service at no charge. We will definitely stay here again.

  We expected more!

  The hotel lobby is really nice and has been redone well. Our room was disappointing. The pictures online did not match the bathroom in our room. Our daughter thought it was dirty because of the age of the tub. We were expecting a much nicer room. The carpets needed cleaned and as mentioned in other reviews nothing was marked as extra cleaning. We were given our own cleaning towel in a small packet! We also found the heating and air confusing! It finally cooled down the room. We couldnt get the WIFI to work or connect to the TV so we could stream our own device. The beds and pillows are comfy! One of my favorite parts of staying at IHG. Both nights of our stay the pool ran out of towels. The first night I called and asked for towels. When we asked for extra room towels they were prompt in bringing more. I struggle with putting average. I think it would be a low-average.
