  When in Central Oregon- stay here!

  I was in Prineville 2 nights for a funeral- from DC. Came across this bed and breakfast. The pictures are accurate- this is the best place I have ever stayed- hotel or Airbnb or bed and breakfast. Absolutely amazing style, comfort, breakfast, coffee, and hostess - Elizabeth. The cooking classes going on in the backdrop are so delightful- and they shared their dessert!! The bed was a cloud - no need for anything when you stay here. I hope to return again. But, wanted to make sure others know about this gem! About 30 min to Bend.

  Owner makes it special!

  The owner, Elizabeth, is what makes this place special. Wonderful, warm & friendly. Great breakfasts made with eggs fresh from her own chickens that are kept behind the house. Plus an evening snack freshly baked for her guests. Only 2 guest rooms in the house, so you definitely get personalized attention. We stayed in the 2BR suite to get a King size bed - very comfortable. This suite has a complete kitchen which we did not use. Only drawback was a very small bathroom. In our experience, this is not unusual in old structures that have been renovated into BNB's, mentioning it just so you know.

  Wonderful BnB

  Delightful and what a surprise in this little town. Elizabeth the owner is welcoming, provided freshly baked cookies in our beautiful suite. Lovely perennial gardens, fancy chicken coop, delicious breakfast. Also offers are occasional cooking classes

  Great Location, Host, Breakfast, and Accommodations!

  The Crooked River Inn was a perfect stay for a mini vacation for me and my son. We are interested in seeing the 7 Natural Wonders of Oregon, and The Crooked River Inn is located perfectly between 2 of the wonders -- Smith Rock and The Painted Hills. But not only is the location perfect, really everything about The Crooked River Inn is perfect! Elizabeth is a delightful host, and it's immediately apparent how she takes pride in her Inn. We had the 2 bedroom suite upstairs, and the bed was one of the most comfortable beds I've ever slept in. There is a feather topper on the bed, and it was the best. Even the soap in the bathroom is a high quality, artisan citrus soap, which I loved. Elizabeth prepared a hearty and delicious breakfast for us -- eggs from her own chickens, bacon, grits, homemade biscuits, fruit, juice, coffee -- everything was exceptional!! My son is 24 years old, and he can really eat, and he was full after Elizabeth's delicious breakfast!! The evening before, Elizabeth recommended a great BBQ restaurant for us, and after dinner, we came back to our suite and watched a movie. Oh! And a total unexpected delight was unbelievable almond cake in our suite! When we returned from dinner, we had homemade cake for dessert with our movie! The Crooked River Inn was so wonderful, both my son and I look forward to returning again. Unfortunately, the Painted Hills were obscured with smoke from the fires, so we said we'd return and definitely stay here again!

  Amazing experience

  We attended a wedding in town and sought an experience instead of the regular hotel options. What a great decision! Elizabeth was an excellent host and every little detail from the property, accommodations, and food was perfect! We arrived and was shown our room, and to our delight there was a plate of freshly baked cookies waiting for us. The room was spacious and had the most comfortable feather beds! Breakfast was delicious with fresh eggs from her property and she was very accommodating with some food allergies. We even had an evening treat waiting for us when we returned from an evening of food and drinks! Highly recommend the Crooked River Inn and hopefully we will return in the future!
