  October Break

  We had a relaxing 3 day break at Crofton House. They strictly follow COVID19 guidelines to ensure the safety of both their guests and staff. The meals are cooked to order, excellent and good value. We have no hesitation in recommending this hotel.

  Special Birthday Celebrations

  Hotel - beautifully kept in all areas the lounge is gorgeous very traditionally decorated in keeping with the character of the property, there is an indoor/outdoor pool, my husband used the indoor on a few occasions. Food - breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice everything cooked to perfection. We had the two course evening meals here on a few occasions and again this was cooked perfect. Covid19 - You wont have to worry at this hotel about it sticking to the rules as the owners have got it spot on they are very alert you adhere to them in all parts of the hotel. Local Area - just a short stroll from main shops and the sea front can be reached within a 10 min walk. would we return?   Wonderful break from london

  My self and my mother stayed at The Crofton House Hotel back in August and it was wonderful. One of my favourite things about this hotel is how much natural light there is inside. The big windows and bright rooms are wonderful to walk through even in the times of a pandemic. We really appreciated the owners going over the Covid safe rules and guidelines with us upon arrival and small reminders to all guests if they had escaped anyones mind. It is possible to have a great get away during these uncertain times. If we needed anything at all the staff their were polite and helpful. My absolute favourite part of our trip was being able to use their indoor swimming pool. Having to book sessions due to Covid restrictions meant we got to have it to ourselves for a time slot and it was wonderful. Myself and my mother felt very safe staying at the Crofton House Hotel and look forward to going back soon!

  Great Break Again

  We visited back in October after our previous holiday last June and was great to be back. Furdoon Stuart Sue and Jeff are very welcoming and cannot do enough to make your holiday safe and welcoming. Their COVID procedures are exemplary ensuring guests and staff are kept safe. The food is varied and plentiful and above all hot. The facilities are first class and the hotel, and all its rooms are pristine and comfortable. There are many pleasant walks and visitor attractions nearby and the local buses provide an excellent service. Cant wait for our next visit. Well done to all.

  Autumn break

  We 1st stayed at Crofton house back in July 2020 for my wife and I s wedding anniversary. We love Torquay and had stayed in a few guest houses and hotels on previous holidays and always had comfortable stays. However nothing compared to the level of comfort,hospitality and friendliness that we experienced with The team at Crofton it was fantastic and despite all the restrictions due to COVID we had the best staycation we ever had,so much so that it prompted us to bring my parents back for a stay here in October once restrictions had eased a little. Once again we were not disappointed with our October stay,,it was excellent and the team made us all feel so welcome again, with nothing being too much trouble. I have to say that since weve been back and locked down again my parents are hoping that we can take them back to Crofton in 2021 once things improve again which we will certainly be looking to do as this is something that they really are looking forward to The hotel owned by Furdoon and Stuart is simply the best as far as we are concerned and they are great hosts,who are ably supported by Sue and Jeff. Cant wait to see you all again soon.
