Weekend getawayVery Modern and well appointed cottages, very pricey at $595 for one night, the tv was on the blink kept losing signal , the ducted heater was blowing pieces of the aluminium ductwork out through the vents and the cups in the cupboard were dirty from previous tenants. The fireplace was a nice feature ensure the flap in the chimney is open or you will never be able to keep the fire lit! Created a nice ambience in the cottage but bring firelighters with you and extra newspaper to get it going!

Overall a fairly nice stayWhen we rocked up, we were not sure which cottage we were staying in as neither was marked and no signage at the front. After a quick call to the Owner we were told Credo 3 was where we were staying. When we entered it had a modern feel to it and very clean although i could pick up on a old haunted house smell which i mentioned to my partner. Whilst in the bathroom and getting ready to head out for tea the toilet flushed on its own. We returned to a warm and clean Jacuzzi and had a pleasant night with the open fire place also (didn't get a chance to light it'.) In the early hours of the morning i heard heavy boot foot steps on the verandah which kept me awake for most of the morning! Had a lovely breakky at the cafe which was nice! There is a sewage smell still and this place does seem to have some unwanted visitors now seeing a few other people have mentioned the same thing which i passed off as maybe some random walking around wasted.

Fantastic StayWe had a fabulous couple of days at Credo Cottages, we stayed in the 3 bed cottage it was absolutely gorgeous it even had a spa pool The cockatoos and native parrots were beautiful. We were also given breakfast vouchers to Rangers restaurant it was delicious. This was a great spot we were attending a wedding at the Sky High at the top of the Dandenongs only a few minutes away by cab. It is only a short walk into the lovely wee town of Olinda with a number of places to eat and a an amazing wine shop nearly next door. The owners couldnt have been more obliging.

Great but expensiveWe had a good stay at this accommodation but trouble with our booking . Be careful booking through booking.com because we paid extra for the single story accommodation with the spa on the back deck, but got the two story accommodation with no outdoor spa . I was quite upset because we had an elderly person with us and my partner is on crutches. We were still charged the extra $50. So just be mindful if you want the single story maybe book directly through the property . The pluss are Credo cottages are walking distance to Olinda shops, cafes etc and all you need is in the units . The only negative is it would be nice if there was milk in the fridge to make a cuppa to start off your stay . Everywhere else we go there is always milk . For $400 a night it would be a nice touch . At least you get a $45 breakfast voucher which covered two of us .

The real review of credo cottages. Credo 3 stay.First of all, this place was excellent!!! I was looking at previous 2017/2018 reviews and was quite surprised to see some negative comments (and some very interesting too). Current prospective stayers, you can confidently ignore those reviews. Look, because i'm an idiot with a stupid sense of humour, i was tempted to write something like: "Oh my god, we got here and there was blood on the walls and we couldn't access the fire place due to these weird twin girls on tricycles refusing to move out of the way. Woke up at 2am to the sound of someone in the bathroom screaming the angelic enochian alphabet (backwards), then heard a tiger running through the lounge room at 3.45am. Tried to use the hot tub in the morning but it seemed that a pterodactyl had ripped it out. Tried calling the owner and he ended up being the dude in the bathroom. Awkward." But no, notwithstanding my idiocy, I do expect quality in accomodation and here's the actual deal with this place. The rooms were clean and tidy, there was no bad odours at all, and the hot tub was fully operational and ready to use. We walked in and it was toasty warm and inviting. Plenty of kitchen utensils, cutlery crockery glassware and mugs. All clean. Salt and pepper and small carton of milk provided. The spa bath was clean and ready, although we didn't use it. Air con worked just fine. Fire place was stacked and ready, and worked very well when used. We took our 3 small dogs with us. Great option for pet friendly accomodation. Voucher for breakfast provided and discount for lunch and dinner at Ranges. We saw Alan, the owner at Ranges and he seemed busy with business, motivated and friendly. Didn't disturb him so thanks Alan for having us. We'll be back.
