  Was a nice peaceful place to stay

  Stayed for 2 nights at the end of our 25th wedding anniv trip to tassie. Lovely cottage. Had wood fire but not enough starter sticks for 2 nights. Also took a long time to heat cottage. Spa was nice but took forever to fill. Bed was comfy but only 1 flat pillow each. Had breakfast provisions with 6 eggs and 4 bacon eyes for 2 days, extra bacon would have been nice. Ample juice , bread and milk. Few choccies with nice port.

  Incredible Experience

  So peaceful and comfortable. Id be back here in a heart beat! Thanks JoAnne :) you are a wonderful host. So much to see and do close by and to be by the river with the fire on every night was just amazing. The bed is so comfortable too :)

  enjoy The twin songs of birds and babbling brook

  This cute-as cottage offers all you need for peace and recouperation. From the crackling fire you can light when the sun sets, to the functional kitchen and bbq to prepare your own feast to highlight your Tasmanian wines, to the sink into bed, there is comfort all around.

  No privacy at all hopefully your not a light sleeper

  The owners live in the co-joined cottage next door while lovely people it's anything but private. On our first day they mowed the lawn out the front from check in 1pm until 7 at night. Then that night there is a water pump outside the bedroom window that has no curtains mind you. It turns on and off through out the entire night resulting in very little sleep. Very disappointing experience. Oh the free breakfast would have been great had the bacon and eggs actually been in a refrigerator that was turned on. We didn't bother staying the second night :(

  Great Peaceful Place

  I was booked in here for six nights as I was visiting family in the area... I was thankful for the peace and quiet of the location after visiting different tourist spots in the Hobart location... The cottage was spotlessly clean and breakfast supplies already stocked in the fridge together with other essentials in the cupboards.. fresh towels were placed on the bed together with some toiletry essentials (I always carry my own though). The mattress was a little soft for my taste but it wasn't uncomfortable and I slept peacefully (someone mentioned in a previous review about noise from a water pump and gas water heater outside, but this was hardly noticeable to me) The owners are friendly and the little touches of putting on a light at night before i arrived back from my daily travels was especially welcome (oh and the replenishment of the chocolates on the coffee table...!) Thank you for a wonderful stay in your cottage... I very much enjoyed it
