  Home from Home

  My partner and I have just come back after a wonderful holiday in Canada. We stayed in the Cozy Nest Bed and Breakfast, where the views are amazing, for our first 2 nights in Canada We felt very comfortable from the moment we arrived at the Cozy Nest as Verna was very welcoming. She was very friendly and gave us lots of information about the area. We found it very easy to use the Park and Ride from Dalhousie Station, to get into the city. It meant we didnt have to worry about parking in the city and the train ride was very short and frequent. We walked to a bus stop to get the bus to the station. On our second vist to the city we walked to the station and that took about 40 minutes but a very pleaseant walk. Silversprings is a very nice residential area and we were glad we stayed there as it was nice and quiet (apart from the early morning freight train whistle as it goes through the valley). This area is not for everyone of course as if you are looking for night life do not stay out here. There are a couple of restaurants within walking distance. On our walk back from dinner on both nights, we encountered a couple of jack rabbits ( hares) running around the gardens. As the name suggests this Bed and Breakfast is very cosy and the breakfast was delicous and plentiful. We didnt eat again until dinner!! We would definitely stay here again.

  hospitable stay

  Verna was a very accomodating and hospitable host - friendly but also respectful of her guest's privacy. The location allowed for a beautiful outlook onto Olympic Park (esp with the fall colours) although it was slightly out of the way. Bedroom/bathroom were clean, no issues with the shared bathroom.

  Clean, friendly and very good value.

  We stayed here on the first night of our most recent Canadian trip. It's a 30 minute drive from the centre of Calgary and situated in a lovely neighbourhood with views across to the Olympic Park. The only noise was birdsong. We had a lovely welcome and the place is very clean. Shared bathroom was not a problem. Had a great night's sleep and a lovely filling breakfast which meant we didn't need to eat until we arrived in Jasper in the evening. Being British we appreciated all the tea we could drink! Very convenient for Highway 1. Would definitely stay here again if in the area.

  Lovely stay

  Lovely quiet location, Verna was amazing so welcoming. I would defiantly stay again. Breakfast was fantastic. The rooms where comfortable with great tv options. Handy location about 15 mins from the city centre.
