  delivers the goods

  well-laid out,spotless, spacious, self-contained with a great shower: room for two and no leaks! no frills but comfortable and met all my needs. well-located - restaurants, supermarket etc. helpful hosts too. walk across the road and ring the Australian Peace Bell before you visit the japanese gardens.

  Great stay

  We stayed for two nights. The room was clean. The bed was comfortable. The kitchenette was well equipped. The motel was right on the main Street but quiet. The complementary continental breakfast was generous. Book direct to support local businesses rather than overseas booking companies. Ring the World Peace Bell while you are in Cowra.

  Good basic Motel

  Just a good basic motel in a good location. Very comfortable, clean and tidy but getting a bit dated. Very large room with very small bathroom, but quite adequate... Good for a stop over on a road trip at a reasonable price,.

  Reasonable accommodation overshadowed by jaded host.

  This little motel is very clean and quiet. Conveniently located with the delightful new Kendal Street Cafe a short 2 min walk. The pool mentioned on this site does not and has never existed. Unfortunately the manager is altogether not a people person, and maybe he needs to retire back to Cairns at his earliest convenience. Maybe telling motel guests how much you hate Cowra and wouldnt live there if you paid him was not his finest moment! He had a brusque manner not conducive to the hospitality industry. Having been in the industry myself for eighteen years my motto was always be friendly and welcoming no matter what personal crisis you may be having at any given time, your guests must always feel like VIPs and not an inconvenience. Needless to say, the cleanest room and comfiest bed will never compensate for an unfriendly host. Never. We wont be back and we travel to Cowra several times a year to visit family there.

  Good location

  This motel is very close to all amenities in Cowra and a couple of minutes away from the Peace bell. And yet is so quiet! The room is a good size, the bed so comfortable, we had a real good nights sleep. The owners were away during our stay, but the couple who looked after the place were lovely. Very helpful and friendly, the lady even checked with us later in the evening if everything was okay. Will book again when in Cowra.
