  Okay but not great

  I stayed here two nights with a friend. Room was nice but the shower doors were broken. We talked to the front desk the first day, but they were not fixed. There was no hot water in our room either. The room next to us was a smoking room so the cigarette smoke seeped into our room. Also, new guests stayed in that room (an adjoining room) and tried to come into ours in the middle of the night (literally opened the door at 3am - HELLO!). We also were told the breakfast buffet/restaurant opened at 6:30, but upon getting down there at said time, it only opened at 7. So that was a little frustrating, but they accommodated with toast and cereal. All that being said, I think the service people did try to accommodate the best they could and were friendly, but sounds like they need to still figure some things out.

  My second home

  I recommend Coventina to all who travels to Dhaka, specialy a medium to long time stay...this is one calm and quite place with safe and homely service. Priced very reasonable, very good infrastructure includes gym, swimming pool,WiFi, even you can do Barbeque at the top....very friendly and helpful staffs who actually cares you...Recently added daily buffet breakfast and Friday-brunch make it one of the best home away from home in Dhaka city... I am really touched by your service...Thanks a lot..

  The best value-for-money accomodation for longer stays in Bangladesh

  I stayed a Coventina Lake Suites for over 6 months and had a great time living there. The building is located conveniently in Gulshan-2 next to Gulshan Lake, which guarantees great views and a nice, calm atmosphere. Room and amenities were great and everything was cleaned daily. The building also offers a gym with a treadmill, weights and machines, a rooftop terrace with swimming pool and lounge area, as well as jacuzzi rooms and a restaurant on the 2nd floor. The food that was served in the restaurant or delivered to your room was good, fresh and tasty. WiFi works pretty well and the backup generator delivers power within 7 seconds in case of a power cut (quite important when you stay in Dhaka). The best thing about living at Coventina is, however, the people. The staff is super friendly and always goes out of their way to help the residents and make everybodys stay as comfortable as possible. I really enjoyed my time there and I am looking forward to stay at Coventina again during my next visit to Dhaka.

  Rock hard bed, a load of mosquitos and incompetent staff.

  I cannot say much good about the hotel. But if I should mention one it would be the spacious room I got. Check out took one hour. They were keeping on telling us"2 min sir, only 2 min sir." the bed is rock hard, not firm but really rock hard. I asked reception to but a blanket on top to make it softer. The reception told me that was impossible and I only got it after talking to the manager.

  A home away from home

  The place is amazing with great location and fantastic service under the watchful supervision of Mr. Ghazi. I will recommend higher floors with lake view rooms, which are very comfortable. Mr. Tanim and his crew at this place are extremely helpful and attentive. A home away from home. Highly recommended.
