  Warm, wonderful and kind staff.

  I had a personal crisis and used my points for the night, the staff was so welcoming and saw that I was in a bind. One of the staff even hugged me, and when your world is falling apart with one crisis after another, I can tell you being treated so kindly and warmly made all the difference in my state of mind. I slept well and my grandkids were safe and warm. Thank you for your kindness and hospitality.

  Always my choice when in town

  I stay here each time in the area for work. Always clean rooms and friendly staff. They make you feel like you're staying with family (only better, haha). Great food and drink options on site which is always a plus when on work time.

  Love this Place

  From it's convenient location, right next to the LJVM Coliseum, to the excellent staff and service; this Courtyard location is a gem. I've stayed there for business and pleasure and always found the rooms to be clean and comfortable. Highly Recommended!

  great stay

  We made this reservation and requested specific pillows, before our stay Deborah called and wanted to confirm the pillows that we needed, she made sure that everything in our room was just as it should be when we arrived check-in was efficient they followed all of the Covid recommendations The property is a bit dated but in great shape the pool was also dated but in great shape the property was very clean and I would definitely stay here again

  Noisy

  The Courtyard by Marriott near Winston-Salem University was a noisy hotel so I'd stay somewhere else next time. The guests from rooms around me were running in the halls and going from room to room those above sounded like drums being played. I'm not sure if the university students are staying at the hotel. The hotel seems remodeled from another chain as the hotel layout seems closer to another brand of hotels. The lobby floors were being replaced while I checked in. I was surprised I was put on the first floor and my room looked out to a area filled with trash some from the remodel going on and soda bottles and cans. I was also surprised that no water bottles were provided and that my Bonvoy status and that I was not given a room upgrade. Another odd thing was I was told to park in the back and go in that door. But this is where all the construction trucks and work was being done in the driveway. The remodeled room was dark even with every light turned on. The bathroom floor needed a cleaning. There was a quarter under the front of the bed so housekeeping was lacking. The office chair was the best thing in the room with the mesh and ergonomic design. I wish I knew who made it but the sticker had been removed from the bottom of it. I don't recommend this hotel for anyone wishing for a quiet night to sleep.
