  your regular courtyard, very nice rooms

  very good property by the expressway. the service and hospitality was great. the rooms are very clean and modern like the updated courtyard hotel. plenty of parking very well kept property. the dining area (bistro) was very clean and well kept.

  Quick stay

  Stayed just one night passing through town. Was great for what we needed. I do feel the hotel is a bit more outdated than the photos make it seem. This hotel was right off the interstate making it an easy overnight and getting back on the road the next day.

  Doesnt compare with other Marriotts

  Typical small hotel room with some major deficiencies: no place to comfortably sit (sofa provided is oval and provides no back support), no closet other than a small freestanding wardrobe which is not wide enough to hold a suit (no other hook or such to hang up a suit either), carpeting is very dirty (walking in bare feet results in black bottoms to your feet), TV selection and reception is poor. No breakfast provided without charge. Recommend you choose another hotel.

  Very Clean Hotel With Professional Staff

  We were very reluctant to stay overnight in a hotel during our drive from Florida to New Jersey because of the Covert19 pandemic but while driving north on I-95 we could not drive anymore and had to stop for the night. After researching hotels on Tripadvisor we chose the Courtyard Wilmington Newark/Christiana Mall and we are so glad that we did. The staff at the hotel were very friendly, knowledgeable and professional. They were practicing all of the safety measures set down by the CDC. The hotel was very clean although I sanitized the room myself just to be safe. I would recommend the Courtyard Wilmington Newark/Christiana Mall

  Wonderful GM and Staff

  The hotel is in a great location, close to malls and restaurants. The customer service is outstanding. Front desk staff Andrea, Amy and Radiyyah were very polite and helpful. One morning I accidently dropped an earring down the drain, I thought it was gone forever. I happened to see Austin from maintenance that morning and I was telling him about it. He immediately went to my room and retrieved it out of the drain. House keeping staff did a great job keeping the room clean and supplied. The general manager Jason and two other employers pushed my car out of a snowdrift one morning. I was able to get to my training class on time because of them. They all gave exceptional customer service. I highly recommend staying at the Sonesta. I would definitely stay there again.
