  Consistent Good Service

  I visit this hotel a couple of times a year when I'm in town for work. Once again, the staff was friendly and helpful, and my room was clean. Renee provided expert service at the front desk, and although Regan was slammed busy in the restaurant, he remained cheerful and efficient, and cooked up the yummiest Brussels sprouts!

  Great and classy hotel

  Karen was the front desk agent that attended to me and my family. She was really helpful and patient with my family considering a few issues I had with my card. I canceled my initial transaction, and she was happy to reinstate my reservation and secured our room. Very nice woman.

  Excellent Customer Service

  I traveled to this location for an overnight stay for a collegiate basketball game. My team and I were treated with top customer service and care from our reservation to our check-out. We were greeted with a smiling face and had an easy check-in and and check-out process. We were also accommodated with other benefits for such a large group. I highly recommend. Make sure to ask for Renee! She was very hands-on and made this a great experience.

  Excellent Customer Service

  I would like to inform you my stay at Courtyard by Marriott Suffolk Chesapeake was awesome. Upon my arrival, I was greet by the Frontdesk Administrative employee (Rita Day). We went through the check-in process, ensuring she accommodated all my needs. I reserved two rooms and wanted them close together, she researched and was able to ensure my request was satisfied. During my entire stay, she was at the Frontdesk ensuring our pool reservations was handled and all of our needs were met. I travel frequently for leisure and for my profession (manage a team of engineers for DOC/NWS). I am familiar with excellent customer service and love when I receive kudos for my team which is very important. A lot of times we hear more about the complaints. Rita is definitely one who would be the face of Marriott, her integrity, character, and how she performed her duties were excellent. If you are able to recognize her for a job well performed that would be awesome.

  Visit to Courtyard

  My visit to this courtyard couldve been better. I did not get much sleep during my stay here has there was noise in the hall ways at odd times of night and the walls seem very thin as I could hear every noise in the room next to me. Upon check in I was surprised to see that hotel was hosting a meeting in the lobby for the hotels service workers with Pizza and drinks. I appreciate that it was about recognition but did not appreciate it being held during these times and in the main lobby of the hotel. Rita at the front desk was extremely nice and polite. I could not hear her very well during check in as there was a speech going on due to the meeting happen about 15 feet from the check in counter. I would recommend at check in to go over wifi and where the elevators are. I did hear of the pool reservation requirements and fitness room location. In my search for a nice hotel in the area this seemed like the best location, value, option in comparison to other hotels. Which I still think is the best option if you find yourself in Suffolk and need a decent place to stay. There are area food options and stores that are convenient to the location and it is tucked away from the highway. Unfortunately my stay was not the best due to noise+lack of sleep and the hotel meeting in the main lobby.
