    Good quiet sleep

A very nice updated hotel. The bed was a bit hard for us. Unfortunately most Marriott Courtyard Hotels do not offer breakfast to Elite members. This location does charge for parking. If you like shopping, you can walk to the mall.

    Decent Courtyard

Was there for a swim meet. Good hotel - nice rooms, good staff, typical Courtyard amenities. My one beef is this hotel, like many, has light fixtures with loose, and thus useless for phones, electrical outlets. They simply dont make good enough contact, so you have to move furniture to get to real plugs. These are standard Courtyard fixtures, but they need to be scrapped. Also petty $8 parking charge. Its an outside lot shared with a bar on one side and a Hampton Inn on the other. Dont nickel and dime us.

woke me up early and no place to park

I checked in late to this hotel on a Sat night in July. The parking lot was totally full and I spent approximately 30 minutes waiting for people to leave and finally was told to park at the hotel next door which made me extremely nervous I would be towed. The next morning the phone rang about 7 am to ask me when I was leaving. I said "excuse me" (not believing what I was woken up to be asked) and the lady said she needed to know when I was leaving. I told her I was not exactly sure. She then argued with me that she had to know. I couldn't fall back to sleep so I went downstairs looking for coffee and all they have is a place to buy coffee. I went to the front desk to ask why someone would wake me up to ask when I was leaving and the same lady said "that was me". She kept arguing that she had to know. I complained that I never heard of such a thing. When we checked out (before the normal checkout time) I was told I would be awarded some points for this issue and I called today over 5 months later and Marriott told me the hotel never posted any points. I would not recommend this hotel. Terrible customer service and lack of parking.

THE worst - Be prepared for fraudulent card charges and rude weekend managers with "no codes"

This place has the absolute worst customer service. I just spoke the acting "manager" on the phone regarding 2 fraudulent charges. Her name was "just Rae," as this is what she told me when I asked for her last name. Customer BEWARE - do not ever do a preauthorization form on the secure website via email sent to you by the special group organizer. Why? They mean nothing! The front desk clerks who check in guests do not even look at these forms for details like name or "maximum amount" to be charged. The front desk clerks also don't look at the name on credit cards given to them and/or match it to the ID they ask for... They demanded a credit card from my 15 year old daughter (not an adult, and not old enough to check into hotel, and not the adult on reservation responsible for check in). The card she had was emergency card with my husband's name and not her name at all, and her ID card presented was her name and not my husband's name on the card. If they would have looked at the ID then they would have noticed that and also noticed she was not old enough to check into the hotel. To make matters worse, my card which was presented on preauthorization form had a maximum amount of $156.24 on the form, but they charged it $180.00. In the end, we have 2 charges for 1 night stay on 2 different cards. So....... I call the hotel (just now, like 10 minutes ago) and I get lucky (not at all) to talk to the rudest most condescending snotty manager who referred to herself as "just Rae," and she spelled her name out for me. Rae was able to look up my preauthorization $180, but she refused to correct it and told me a 5-minute explanation of why it was $180. She refused to correct the mistake, and told me she would have the event manager Jennifer call me back, who happens to be on vacation until the 16th according to the voicemail message because I called. In regards to the charge on my husband's card and the ID not matching and my daughter's age etc. - I challenged her on the front desk practices on (1) checking IDs for age, (2) matching IDs for names on credit cards, and (3) verifying WHO was the adult on the reservation (not my daughter). No-Codes-Just-Rae, the manager, could not tell me why the aforementioned happened and told me she would "look into" why? I asked Just Rae to please let me speak to her manager who was above her, and she said she was the only person I could speak to... I went online to investigate and research, and I'm SOOOOOO very happy that I came across a recent post with the Real Manager name and contact information. Madalena Miller I will be contacting you, and thank you for making your information available. Hopefully, you can refund my husband's card, fire the person who checked my daughter into the room as it did not match reservation name, and she was not adult, only 15, and/or lastly her name on her ID was not the same as the name on the card they demanded. I'm also wondering about the point of a preauthorization form that spells it all out? Why ask for a maximum amount on this form when it is not honored? Why put instructions that say who is adult of party and that explain that the same adult will pay for incidental hold funds? Why also charge 2 cards for the same reservation? Why hire a "Just Rae" manager who is rude, does not give customers ANY satisfaction even when they recognize wrong doing, and also refuses to give you a head manager's name or contact information, and lastly ends the conversation by making the customer feel like they have no recourse for further help. I will be calling first thing in the morning, and I only regret I ever trusted the Marriott with my credit card number or my daughter's travel accommodations. This is the worst experience I've ever had, and we have been traveling for competitive sports for 20 years between both my kids. Customer beware, and be prepared for dishonest and rude customer service.

    Worst Customer Service Ever

We arrived late after traveling 13 hours to get to WA. After a long trip and arriving around 8:30, we had to push the button on the intercom to get assistance. We were not greeted with a welcoming tone. Once in, no welcome, just name. Gave our name, was told my name was not on file, after my husband specifically called to have my name on the reservation. We were told by the night clerk that since my name wasnt on the reservation, she shouldnt have let me in. Then she told my son and I, to take a seat over there. We sat for so long as my husband called again to explain that another guest walked in an asked if we had been helped. Im not sure what my husband said to her, maybe that were considered Elite members of their program but her attitude changed. Sad!!! As it shouldnt matter, a hotel guest is who keeps you in business and pays your employees salaries maybe there needs to be a reminder in a staff meeting. As if things couldnt get worse, our clock alarm the next morning went off at 5:34 am. We had not set it to do so (especially frustrating after such a long drive and exhausted). Turned it off only to hear the alarm in the next room fire off and continue for over 15 minutes. This occurred again this morning in the room next door which leads me to believe its vacant. I bring this up as this also occurred in a Westin hotel in Long Beach, Ca. Your cleaning service needs to be aware that as they are wiping these clocks down, they are also setting the alarms. Or, just maybe, its being purposely done. Either way, it should be addressed. Upon check out, I was told by the morning clerk, that she wanted me to leave keys in the box. Told her my son had them who was grabbing the car. She said thats fine just get them from him when he pulls up and put them in the box. I have never been told that it is mandatory to give these key cards back and what I find even more interesting is that during COVID pandemic you would even want them. So grabbed the key from my son and dug through my purse to find the other. As I dropped them in, told her Ive never been told before at any of there properties that they definitely needed the key cards back. She stated, Well, its just part of the game. What??? Maybe something a little kinder would be appropriate. At that point, I told her about the horrible night clerk, the ridiculous alarms going off and that by far this was the worst Hotel we have ever stayed at. Anyone reading this review, do yourself a favor and stay any where else. The sad part is my son is relocating to this area and this was our first welcome to this area. My only regret is that I did not get these two individuals names as I would have loved to send a letter to the property manager explaining what a horrible representation they are of this corporation.
