  Time to relax

  We are on our way to Florida. This hotel was a welcome stop. I called ahead and Jasmine at the front desk made us feel like we were coming home. After a full day on the road, we were looking forward to Happy Hour and dinner. Turned out we were the only ones for Happy Hour but we were joined by Jasmine and Brandon. It was a quiet night. They were our welcoming committee tonight. Hope the Marriott realizes that they have awesome staff. Thank you for a relaxing night.

  Outdated & Worn

  Stayed here the week of 3/2/20. This Courtyard did not live up to what I usually see and expect from a Marriott Courtyard. The hotel is in a great location but the King bed room was dated. The walls were thin, as the people in the next room could be heard loudly. Had to call the front desk for a maintenance call regarding the thermostat needing a battery and not being able to turn off the A/C fan. One of the front desk staff responded soon and fixed this. I pointed out two other issues, but advised these did not need to be addressed immediately, these being the bedside lamp shade was broken and the ceiling door light and another ceiling light did not work. I assumed these would be addressed the next day, but were not. The overall lighting was dim and poorly located, especially in the bathroom. Also, the A/C unit fan went back to the earlier problem of not being able to be turned off. There were many worn places, in the outdated room, paint scratches on the bathroom door trim, cracks in the tub, and torn wall paper around the bath vanity half wall. The bath sink was very slow to drain. The shower was not a walk-in and the toilet was the usual disappointing low seat. The refrigerator was tiny and there was no microwave. On a positive note, the staff was very friendly and professional. The Bistro Starbucks coffee and special order breakfast were great, as was the woman that took the order and served the coffee. The LG flat screen TV was nice and there was actually a good remote, with the much needed mute button for ads, onscreen TV guide, a good channel selection, including HBO and other movie channels, and of course ESPN, for my daily, Around The Horn and PTI shows. There is also a nice Publix nearby. Youll need to opt for that, as I was charged $5 for a Kind bar and Doritos at the front desk. I would not stay at this Courtyard again.

  Horrified - woke up with used panty liner attached.

  We regularly use this hotel for family coming in town and my mother and grandmother stayed there over this past week. My grandmother woke up with a used pantyliner attached to her pajamas suggesting that the sheets were not washed prior to them checking into the room. We will not be using this hotel again. Disgusted, particularly in light of what should be a time of enhanced cleanliness.

  Decent Hotel

  Hotel was decent overall. The pool or gym was not open nor was the bistro due to covid. But overall it was a nice hotel. Room was nice but had a small TV. Able to login to your streaming services like Netflix which was great. Overall aperance is good. Lacks in a bit of cleaning in areas along with some maintenance touch ups here and there. Staff was not so friendly but the girl that help us was friendly. You could tell they did not want to be there. Overall a 3 out 5

  Tried Marriott but going back to Hilton

  Stayed 2 nights, otherwise I would have asked for a room change. We were greeted by agent wearing a mask around his chin. Room was propped open upon arrival (security issue??) damp and not well lit. AC unit sounded like a rattletrap all night long. Breakfast offerings were so so, I understand the virus limits options but no effort to make the display appealing at all. Juices not iced, a couple of bagels and muffins to select from. It was such a turn off that we went out and had breakfast in a restaurant. The worst part of our stay which is the reason for being there was sleep, which we had precious little of. The King mattress was torture! The pillows have seen better days! There was no sense of hospitality, passed staff in halls and when we spoke they looked at the floor. The landscaping was drab and someone needs to pull the weeds. The room was clean. Sadly, a disappointment and cannot see returning here.
