  Its all about the staff

  Without doubt this hotel has moved to my all time top recommended hotel. And this excellence comes solely from the wonderful staff here who I am on first name terms with. They are family. I have never known such a group of people to go out of their way to provide such fantastic service, to be so friendly and supportive, and to be caring, thoughtful people. This accolade comes from their support to myself and my parents whose holiday was rudely interrupted by illness. The staff were fantastic for two weeks to help look after my parents prior to my arrival. And they then looked after me too. What amazing, genuine, caring people. So while its a trip I shall remember for the wrong reasons at least I also take away memories of how great these folks are. This is a business hotel. It had a good lounge area that I could work in. The breakfast was very nice. The outdoor pool and hot tub was nice. And the outdoor courtyard garden was very relaxing. The hotel is being refurbished at the moment.

  Pleasant staff, but renovating and charge for breakfast

  We were very pleased with the staff since we knew that we would be in earlier than the check in time since we were going to a wedding. They accommodated out needs. On arrival, the young lady at the desk was also very pleasant. It was confusing coming in since they are renovating and the main entrance is blocked. Our room had been recently renovated and was very nicely decorated and nice and clean. Good Wifi, and channels on the TV. The lobby has also been renovated and also was very nicely decorated. I had two major complaints though. One problem was that they couldn't seem to get the bill correct. Initially they printed the bill for 2 nights stay even though we were only there one night. They finally printed one that was correct, but when we got home and checked the bill, it was about $30 higher than the one printed. The other annoyance is that they charge you for breakfast. While I expect that when I am traveling on the coasts, that is not standard in Arizona so in truth, the cost of staying a night was higher than it appeared initially. Breakfast was order by item, so it added up. Had I realized, we would have gone out for breakfast which would have given us more choice and would have cost less.

  Almost cancelled due to renovations...

  When we got our confirmation and information about on going updates, we were considering Plan B...as we needed a couple days of rest. After calling the hotel, they reassured us minimal noise and inconvenience and would do their best to keep our room away from the chaos for the 2 nights we needed...and they did! We were in a beautiful NEW room with very ample space and minimal noise. Staff was truly upbeat and we will definitely go to this location when in the area.

  Very nice room but bring your ear plugs

  Marriott made great use of the space in the room and the bed was perfect. The shower was excellent but the bathroom could have used a fan. We really liked the location of the hotel. Only 12 minutes from the airport and easily accessible from the freeway. The walls are thin. During our visit the person next door was on a few zoom calls and it felt like we were in the room with him. In your room you can hear a lot of what is happening but ear plugs will take care of most of the noise.

  Comfortable stay

  Stayed for 5 nights. Clean room with only one trash can. Requested daily room cleaning. They do not provide body lotion unless we asked them. Room came without a microwave but we requested for one for our room. Great service. Near to major restaurants.
