  consistently a good stay

  A nice, mostly uneventful stay; a constant with Courtyard by Marriott. Im always pleased with my stays at Courtyards and this one was no different. I have my usual gripes of course but none are that serious. I always mark their choice for a feather free room because feather pillows burn my eyes and as always I receive a room full of feather pillows; 100% of the time in the last 6 years. Its all Courtyards, not just this one, and its quickly remedied once I ask for other pillows. This visit coincided with some routine maintenance with the AC units so there was the disruption of having the technicians in my room unexpectedly but it was managed as well as it could be I suppose. I noticed a hotel employee present during the time when the other workers were in the rooms which helped a little with the thought of security with personal belongings. This showed me that he hotel was mindful of the situation and took precautions to protect the guests. Overall, this particular room was pretty darkly lit; virtually no bright light unless it was from the window. This made actual working at the desk tedious and challenging. The hotel location is perfect to get almost anywhere you need to go in town. It's easy to access and has plenty of well lit parking.

  Great location very hip

  Finally had a chance to stay on a non football weekend. Normally booked or very high rates. It was a very hip and cool place and now I know why its always booked. Great rooftop bar. Hope I can find a window to stay there again.

  Housekeeping Issues

  Both days during my three night stay I had to request housekeeping when my room had not been cleaned as of 5:30 pm. When I went to leave, found that an unopened bottle of wine had been stolen from the in-room fridge. The room had no safe. Will definitely not be staying there again!

  What a great Hotel

  Im a Marriott Ambassador Elite member and I stay at about 170 nights a year at various Marriot properties across the US. Recently I stayed at the Courtyard Oxford in Oxford, MS. Its basically adjacent to Ole Miss University which makes it a great location. During my stay the staff was attentive and very cordial. My room was clean and modern. TV and beds were perfect. I did eat there both nights and their chef, MS. Jackson is outstanding. If you plan on staying in Oxford or the surrounding area Id highly recommend looking into staying at the Courtyard.

  Ridiculous

  Ok dont stay here. We are bonvoy platinum members and so disappointed. No amenities due to covid which means they either arent open or close early for breakfast evening etc. No housekeeping they only bring towels. No shuttle service but you can uber. Apparently uber can figure out how to bring people but they cant. Highly disappointed I cannot recommend. We have been to many other hotels during covid and this is exceptionally poor service and amenities. Apparently they should completely shut down since they can only provide a room. Maybe they should adjust pricing to match their amenities.
