  It's more of a 2.5 than a 3

  I stay here frequently because I get a Corporate rate - if I can find something within about a 10 mi radius within $20 of that rate I don't stay. It's just not very nice, it's average at best for a Courtyard. I don't get a real sense of cleanliness and the hotel is dated. The staff is fine but not great. The location is TERRIBLE, there is absolutely nothing around the hotel besides offices. The only choice for dinner without getting in the car is to eat at the hotel. There is nothing at all nearby I am not exaggerating when I say that. The one nice thing about the complete isolation at night is that the area is pretty quiet and safe to go for a walk or run. It is also very close to the train station.

  Perfect hotel if you are going to FedEx Field

  Stayed at The Courtyard/New Carrollton for a Redskins game recently. Hotel was clean, staff was friendly and the location was convenient to getting to stadium and to Washington DC. Definitely suggested for families, friends, etc who are looking for a reasonable priced and safe place to stay for a DC trip.

  I'm Done

  This place is a dump, there is no other way to say it. It's old, run down, filthy, and completely isolated from anything but businesses. There are no restaurants nearby and despite having, according to them a bistro plus menu, there are limited options of items they heat up in a microwave. They will tell you there are food options within a short drive (less than 5 mins) not that are safe to go to at night there aren't. Finally there was a trail of ants from my 3rd floor balcony to the trashcan in my room last last time I stayed there which is also the past time i will ever stay there. This is despite the fact I can walk from the hotel to my office. Marriott should be ashamed and embarrassed they allow this hotel to operate under their brand.

  Fun Staff, Great Service

  Lively and helpful staff, good breakfast, very clean rooms. Location perfect for connectivity by car/train. Strong wi-fi, gym with tv-integrated treadmills and free weights, fireplace in lobby. Free laundry soap/fabric softener a nice touch for long stays!

  This is the worst hotel I have ever been in.

  This hotel was filthy. There was debris on the carpets, and the VINYL floor of the room was unclean. There were no drinking glasses in the room. There was one washcloth and no face towels. There was a wild party going on in two rooms across the hall until 3 in the morning. "You're in the wrong bed ho!" This notwithstanding the presence of a security guard. The desk clerk was more interested in his biceps than the guests. This place is not worthy of the Marriott name. I have brought this to the attention of Marriott.
