  GREAT PLACE TO STAY WHEN VISITNG Monroe , Louisiana

  The check-in and van driver staff at this small hotel in Monroe, La was exceptional, Very Friendly and professional. The rooms were clean and comfortable. It is a cozy place and near the mall with plenty of resturant options to choose from.

  Right Around the Corner From the Airport

  The airport is just five minutes from the Monroe Airport. There are many restaurants within walking distance and even a shopping mall. In the lobby, is a small bistro and bar with lots of seating to hangout. The staff was kind and helpful and got us our rooms quickly. The rooms were spacious and bright. There was a roll out desk and a large lounge couch to hangout. There was also a patio with a chair. The bed was extremely soft and comfortable. There was a flat screen TV that was oddly placed but was easy to cast your favorite shows. The WiFi was fast and connected easily. The hotel has coin laundry for guests to use. There is no pool but there is a small fitness room with cardio machines. The bistro and bar in the lobby is still closed due to COVID. There also is no hot breakfast and the fitness room was also closed. The State of Louisiana was opening up at the time of my stay which allowed indoor dining.

  Disappointing

  First off, the staff was great. They were very friendly and tried to accommodate the best they could. The AC wasnt working, so when you first entered the lobby it was hot and muggy. Thankfully, once you were in your room, it was cool. The room was spacious, but felt dated and smelled musky. A few weeks ago, we stayed at the Townplace suites, which is also a Marriott property that sits to the right of this hotel. We were able to place our dirty towels outside our door, which were replaced with clean towels in a bag on your doorknob. On day two, we noticed people placing their towels outside their door so we did the same. When we came back, out towels were still sitting outside. We requested fresh towels only to be told they were out! Good thing we had clean t-shirts to dry off with! If you need to be in this area, stay at the TownPlace suites. It was a much better experience.

  Overnighter

  On the road and hit patch of rain and decided to call it a day. Stopped in and they had room. Nice price, clean quiet room. Morning coffee available in front desk area. During CO-VID and employees wearing mask and practicing social distancing. Hotel next to a mall and several restaurants nearby including Olive Garden & Applebees

  Never again

  Front staff was good and courteous but the room Ive killed two roaches so far shouldve left when I saw room was dusty also didnt receive fresh towels so dissatisfied will not be staying again thanks for nothing
