It just got worse each dayVery noisy hotel. Doors being slammed and the whole building vibrates. 12 am noise inside and outside. I started off day one with a 4 star because of dated furniture. Then noise during the first night. The first morning, the bath's water drain as not good so water all over the bathroom floor. I also discovered no free breakfast, go to buy your own breakfast. Down to 3 star. The next two days was the noise inside and outside. From doors being slammed at 1am to noise outside. Their door is made in such a way that it slams, you have to consciously hold to door to prevent it from slamming. of course if you are thinking about others you will do that but we had folks who did not really care and who seemed to be up all night going from room to room. And the wifi would not let me download documents! So had to use my phone wifi to do some business work. That dropped it down to 2 stars

Just awful.Been traveling for work the past few weeks and most properties are at least trying to keep guests and staff safe during Covid. And at least attempting to provide a few basic areas of service. Not here! No staff, I mean NONE, are wearing masks. Including front desk and housekeepers in public areas. Further to that they have no shields at the front desk. Add to that a number of what appears to be regular or long term guests that linger around the desk talking to staff with no masks (and in one case walking around barefoot). No distancing advisories anywhere. No elevator protocol. If you want to experience what a hotel was like prior to Covid this is your retro moment! But, wait, they will claim Covid excuses for other things... They have closed the bistro. That's fine. But they can't even put out a coffee station in the morning? Every other Courtyard the past weeks provides basic coffee. Here they tell you to use the filthy coffee maker in the room if you want coffee. Ok? But they don't provide cups due to, "Covid precautions." I am not sure how a wrapped coffee cup placed in your room is a risk. Especially as I am told this from a maskless front desk person who did in the end find me a cup in the back office after pressing her on the absurdity of all of this. The grab and go market? Closed. Everything. When I asked about getting bottled water I was told, "We have none due to Covid." Umm, what? Again, the irony of being told the hotel has no option for bottled water as it somehow poses a Covid risk, again, from a maskless, non shielded front desk employee. There was a letter from the manager that claims they have implemented the following, "employees are told to stay home if not feeling well." Wow. Really? Ya think? How about giving them masks and proper safety protocols to protect them and the guests when they are there? The other thing this letter states is that they have implemented "enhanced cleaning." I think the GM should go look in the bathrooms of each room to witness first hand the mildew and mold build up in the shower. It was the most disgusting thing I have seen in a U.S. hotel in years. Needless to say that I checked out after one night (was due to spend three). Leaving this hotel feels more like escaping.

This is NOT MarriottWhen I travel I am partial to Marriotts as Ive never been disappointed...until now. This is by far the worst Marriott Ive ever visited, I cannot recall another hotel this poorly maintained. I had to wait for 15+ min at the front desk that was unmanned to check in. Service was poor, she seemed to not want to be there or was bothered that she had to check me in. Everytime I went past the front desk during my stay, it was unmanned. There was no garbage can in the room and barely enough towels and no hand towels. There were NO housekeeping staff the two nights I stayed here. We did not get any housekeeping service and there were piles of dirty towels From guests along the hallway. The vending/ice room had Over 5 bags of garbage bags in the corner. Other than being checked in, there was absolutely no interaction with any staff Because there was no staff. No grab and go breakfast, coffee, nothing. Dated and smelly. Stay away!

Disappointing and dirtyNice lobby, however once we left the lobby and walked down the hall to our room, it was very disappointing. Carpets were stained and dirty. Elevator was also very dirty. Our room was nice and big, but the bathroom area floors were filthy. There was visible dirt and they were extremely sticky while walking on them. The bath towels were very small and thin, well worn too. The bed was comfortable and the room itself, excluding the bathroom area was nice and also spacious. The walls are paper thin and I could hear conversations next door. There was no coffee available in the lobby the next morning, even though they advertised having a Starbucks. The clerk said it wasnt open. On a Sunday morning? Really??? Overall, it was very disappointing. If this is what a Marriott Hotel is, dont bother. Certainly not a three star as advertised!

The Worst Marriott ExperienceI gave the rating a 2 because of the staff. Without them the rating would be a 1...zero if I was allowed to rate a zero I want to be clear, this is not an issue with management or the staff. They were nice and accommodating as they could be in the circumstances. Upon entering the Courtyard Marriott on Brown Deer Rd in Milwaukee WI the check in through the app feature was not working. I had to stop by the desk to check in which I try to avoid in this current environment. Upon entering the first room I noticed the pull out couch was in disrepair. The stuffing was out of the couch and there were huge tears in the fabric. I tried to cut the heat up, because it was cold and snow was falling, and the heater was saying DF which my husband informed me was defrost. I tried to cut on the television and it was not working. I wanted to call the front desk and ask for another room but the phone was missing in the room. I sent my husband down to the manager and he returned with my husband to see my complaints. He advised he was new to the position and he was unaware of the condition of the room. We lugged our things to another room and upon entering the room the first thing I noticed was the bedding. The bedding was summer bedding and there was a blizzard outside. The comforter was very thin and one sheet was included. We looked for additional bedding which should have been included with the pull out couch, but there was none in the room. The bed was beyond firm, but to be fair, some people enjoy very very very firm beds. We tried to put our water in the refrigerator but it was not cold. I opened up the curtain and the window leading out to the deck was filthy. We cut up the heat and it took it forever to kick in. We checked the connection on the refrigerator and it was pulled in. On the way out for dinner I alerted the manager and he moved the refrigerator from the room we just left while we were out. We got to our vehicle and it was trash everywhere in the parking area. Upon our return from dinner we wanted to put our food in the new refrigerator and it was not working. I have included a picture of how we had to keep our things cold. At this point I gave up and decided I would never stay at this location again and I would not suggest others stay at this location either.
