Extremely disappointed!My family and I stayed at the Courtyard Manchester-Boston Regional, in Manchester, in January 2020. We had confirmed for late arrival, and that was not a problem. However, we were put in a room that was very noisy. The pipes in the walls kept vibrating REALLY LOUDLY! This happened 12 times during the night intermittently. The headboards of our beds were right against this wall. It actually sounded like a jack-hammer right through the night. I called front desk at around 4 am to advise them and I was advised that they have a problem with the pipes vibrating and that there was nothing they could do "as it was an old building". At around 7am I advised them that we had not slept at all because of the noise and asked if we could have late check-out. At that point I was offered a free breakfast to compensate for the problem. I spoke to my family and they all said they were not interested in the free breakfast as nobody had slept at all through the night and we just were not able to eat breakfast - free or not! Long story short ... when checking out I again, spoke to the front desk about this issue and was told again "Yes we have a problem with the pipes in the walls, and especially in that room it is very loud". At that point I asked the lady "If you'll know that it is noisy in that room, why did you'll put us in there?" She said she did not have an answer for that and apologized. I then told her that I would like a refund and she said it would not be a problem however, that I would have to speak to Expedia (as I had booked through them) and that Expedia could call them and they would process a refund. I called Expedia and they told me that they had spoken to staff at the hotel who were at the front desk and none of them remember that incident, nor did they remember my conversations with them, nor did they admit that they have a problem with the pipes!!!! I was stunned when Expedia told me that, as I had spoken to 4 people at front desk at the hotel about the issues, that night and the next morning. IT IS ABSOLUTELY UNBELIEVABLE THAT THEY WOULD LIE SO BLATANTLY! I was advised by Expedia that they have been trying to contact the Manager at the Courtyard and now, that nobody picks up the call. My family and I travel a lot and we like staying at the Marriott and its partner hotels. We have stayed at the Marriott, Courtyard, Liberty, W, Sheraton in Australia, New Zealand, USA, Canada, Kenya, Spain, Portugal, Istanbul etc etc. This is such a bad representation for the Marriott brand. Just totally unacceptable to lie so blatantly! So disappointed!

Dena and Rachel were the best!They actually reopened the kitchen for us starving journalists! We are here covering the Democratic primary and work late. They restarted the oven and broke out the food again which was wonderful at 11pm.

Outstanding ServiceOutstanding service! Rachel, Krystle and Atheena were terrific. A very friendly and professional staff. They did a great job preparing breakfast for our team. The French toast was delicious!!! Next time I'll be sure to try the cookies - which everyone seemed to also enjoy. Keep up the good work.

Nice upgradeI enjoyed my 2-night stay. I asked for an upgrade, because I was in town to visit my family that I hadn't seen in several months - due to COVID-19. This allowed us to visit with each other without having to do a lot of mask-on / mask-off. Ernesto was very accommodating with allowing the kids in the pool, helpful with explaining my bill situation and snacks. This will be my new hotel spot, when I'm in Manchester and I'm there about 3 -4 times a year. I would have gave 5 stars, but my room was never cleaned. I checked-in Thursday, checked-out Saturday, my room was never touched. No one asked if I needed towels or anything. And I clearly saw the young ladies in the hall, cleaning other rooms. Due to COVID, they could have asked in I needed something wiped down or hand santitizer.

Fantastic customer serviceWe had a quick overnight trip spontaneously planned. I called Courtyard and Ernesto was so very helpful with reserving accommodations for us. It is a special skill to project a smile through a phone call. It is also a skill to project a smile through a face mask, yet Ernesto did that in person, too. He and his colleague (I didnt get her name) suggested a fantastic place for us to go get dinner - especially appreciated due to dietary concerns. Check-in and check-out processes were quick, easy, and friendly. The room was clean and comfortable. We will definitely choose this hotel again. In the meantime, Courtyard, I suggest giving Ernesto a raise. Clone him, if possible. In times of lockdown, chaos and stress, a little friendly goes a long way. Excellent rating, well-deserved.
