The worst cafe in the entire company!I travel extensively in my job, and I try to always stay at a Marriott. I am a rewards member. My brother and I took our families to Utah for an extended family event. He booked the hotel. The front desk staff were always friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and the property was in great condition. The rooms came with a free breakfast at the café. This is where things went horribly wrong. The first morning, the girl greeting us at the counter was stoic and colder than the January wind outside. She seemed angry to even be there. When our meals arrived, the redheaded girl was very nice, but the food was as cold as the cashier. It was very obvious that the meals, other than the eggs, had been made well before the restaurant open, and they simply reheated it. However, in our case, they failed to do so. The French toast was ice cold, as was the little tins of syrup. We asked the waitress to please take the syrup back and heated up for us. She did. The bacon was ice cold. Everything was ice cold. As we picked through the frozen food, we became thirsty. I asked the waitress where we could get water or some beverages. She pointed to a small refrigerator. I asked if it was part of the breakfast, and she affirmatively nodded. Again, stoic and cold. I asked her why she didnt tell us that when we placed our order. She pretended to be busy and did not answer me. As we were getting into the elevator, a very nice young woman cleaning the elevator doors overheard me tell my wife that this was the worst dining experience I had ever had at a Marriott. She quickly stood up and asked what she could do to help fix the situation. She is the reason we did not pack up and move to another hotel for our second night. I explained there was nothing she could do, but thanked her for her amazing customer service and her willingness to come up with a remedy. The next morning, the redheaded girl was at the cash register. I put in a to go order for for breakfast sandwiches. I asked that they hold the arugula and only put avocado and two of the four sandwiches. Apparently, it was the equivalent of asking them to split an atom. When I returned 15 minutes later, the cook and the cashier were trying to figure out my order. It was an absolute disaster. I gave her my order one more time and told her that we were leaving in 10 minutes. Notably, I was the first person to place an order that morning and there was no one else in line. I returned 15 minutes later and the sandwiches were still not ready. I waited about two more minutes and then they came out. The cashier then instructed me she was going to prepare the fruit cups to go. I told her we had to leave and we left without the fruit. Hands-down, the worst dining experience Ive had at the Marriott. If I were the manager, I would fire the first cashier, re-train the redhead, and promote the young girl cleaning the elevator on her Saturday morning.

Excellent friendly service at a modern, clean CourtyardThe friendliness of the staff from the moment you enter the Courtyard Lehi to the moment that you leave is a credit to the Marriott Group. Their willingness to ensure that your stay is good including providing a free shuttle to local businesses is great. Ideal location for Lehi businesses. Having stayed in a number of Courtyard's across the globe including in Europe this was an example of a modern, airy Courtyard. The bathroom had a long and spacious shower with good water pressure. The bed was comfortable and the room spacious. I can't comment on the food as I didn't eat there on my overnight stay.

Disappointing and not as advertisedI rented a one bedroom two room suite. Our room was one room with a bathroom. Apparently this hotel only has three suites and the one they placed us in does not have a separate bedroom from the living space. The separate bedroom from the living space was the main reason we booked this room at this hotel. We were traveling with young children and bedtime is better when everyone In the hotel does not have to go to sleep at the same time. In addition, the mini fridge has a button inside that only turns it on for two hours at a time. This pretty much made using the fridge pointless. No one wants to push a button in the fridge every two hours to keep their items cold. In addition, the beds were not all that comfortable. To top this off the pool and the gym were closed due to COVID. I understand taking precautions but notice beforehand would have been nice. Needless to say our stay was disappointing. On the plus side their staff was friendly.

SO Disappointed!I am a Platinum Elite member and regularly stay at Marriott properties. We had a long day of driving and we are tired. If we werent so tired, Id ask to trade rooms. In this world of COVID, I expect Marriott rooms to be thoroughly clean, at least visibly so! (See picture.) Our air conditioner doesnt work, the bedside USB is broken, and the sink barely drains. Marriott will hear about this. Room 202 sucks.

Kristine was very helpful and accommodatingI like the hotel location its in central area for food and almost everything, but the hotel staff was kind of dry except miss Kristine. She was very pleasant to talk too and very accommodating to the customers/guest. The assistant manager was very uptight. The rest of the crews was ok. Keep it up miss Kristine!!
