  They are doing everything right

  Recently, we stayed at another Marriott property south of here. It was terrible. This place was great!! Floors were immaculate. Elevator clean. Rooms in perfect shape. There were hand sanitizer dispensers everywhere. They have done a fine job of representing Marriott during Covid. Limited breakfast was available, and we did take advantage of it. You pay for breakfast at Courtyards, but that is OK. And the nightly rate was a bargain.

  Visit experience:

  Very nice place to stay! Rooms huge and the hotel was exceptionally clean!! Restaurants close by as well as the Mall!! Beds very comfortable and slept well!! Bedding soft as well as bath towels. We will definitely stop here again on the way to the beach and when we come back!!

  Wonderful Stay!!!!

  This was the last place we stayed on a road trip and by far the best hotel!!!! The staff was friendly, welcoming, and very helpful. Offered to fill our cooler with ice when we left since the ice buckets were removed from the rooms. Room had a seal on the it stating it was cleaned and it felt the most clean of all the ones we stayed at. Plenty of stores and restaurants near by; there is a Starbucks inside the hotel but it wasn't open while we were there. Makes Marriott's and Courtyards at the top of our list for hotels now!!

  Excellent, Super Clean, Top Notch,

  This was our first time traveling since COVID started. All the previous reviews about how clean this Courtyard is were so helpful and spot on. This hotel is super clean! The desk staff was so nice and welcoming. Everyone wore masks and there were hand sanitizer stations everywhere. The cleaning staff had placed a sticker between the door and frame informing us that the room had been cleaned and sanitized. We had to peel it off to open the door, so we definitely knew that no one had entered the room once it had been cleaned. Very nice touch! The minute we entered our room, we could tell that everything in the room had been cleaned. . . literally EVERYTHING. Even the remote control had been sanitized and wrapped. The rooms was super clean and very comfortable. Instead of having a bulky comforter, the king size bed had a pristine white coverlet. I could tell that the Courtyard had switched to this so as to give the guests peace of mind in knowing that even the top bed covers are being washed. There is no room for doubt, this Courtyard is taking COVID precautions 100%. The cleaning protocols were top-notch! This Courtyard went over and beyond to help make our stay safe, comfortable and enjoyable. I highly recommend this Courtyard hotel for anyone visiting Hagerstown, MD. Good job Marriott!

  What a great overall hotel!

  Took a few days away for a staycation at this wonderful hotel. Checked in quickly with Kelsey at the front desk. She was so pleasant and professional. Went off to our room and was very pleased with the size of the room and the cleanliness of the room. Very cozy and comfortable. Water flow in the shower was great. No tub, just a stand up shower which was fine for us. We opted to not have housekeeping clean the room since we were only there for 3 days. We could get new towels from the front desk though which was nice. When we got to our room, it had a sticker across the door and the door trim to let us know that the room had been cleaned/sanitized. Nice touch. There was also a very small fridge in our room. Hot tub was closed (bummer!) but the pool was open. We didn't have time to enjoy it though but maybe next time. It looked really nice and it was clean. There was plenty of free parking and for the most part we got a close spot. The hotel got busier towards the weekend so the parking lot got a little more crowded but still not a problem. Though the hotel got busy, we didn't hear a lot of noise from any of the other guests. The beds were super comfortable for us - a little on the firmer side. I slept so good which I don't do often. The hotel sits in the same parking lot as a mall and a really great diner (within walking distance) and it is also close to other restaurants and shopping. I'm not sure if they had any breakfast offerings so I can't speak to that. But I do know there was a coffee shop of sorts in the lobby (may have been a Starbucks). It was always closed during our coming and going possibly due to COVID. But the diner across the parking lot was our go to place. All of the staff that I encountered were super friendly and the hotel was really clean. I would definitely stay here in the future if I get to this area again. Such a wonderful relaxing staycation.
